Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Toya Bush-Harris have been feuding for years.
“Married to Medicine” stars Toya Bush-Harris and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe have clashed for years. At first, Contessa came on the show and appeared to be building a friendship with Toya. But things fell apart after Contessa didn’t hold back her thoughts about Toya and Dr. Eugene Harris’ tax debt. In fact, she couldn’t understand why they threw a party after paying off their unpaid taxes.
When this got back to Toya, she was furious. She felt betrayed and wasted no time in confronting Contessa. However, Contessa didn’t see the issue. And she felt as if Toya was making a big deal out of nothing. So their tension would only grow from there.
Both women began to pull back from their budding friendship. And since then, it’s been plenty of shade coming from both sides. To no surprise, things haven’t changed on the current season. In fact, on the upcoming episode, “Married to Medicine” newbie Anila Sajja attempts to get them to hash things out. But she isn’t successful, and after more jabs are exchanged, Contessa warns Anila about Toya.

Contesssa could’ve simply ? and kept her comments to herself. Oftentimes it’s just safer to do that.
On the ‘B side’Toya is quite childish so I would be like Contessa and leave her alone.

Now Contessa gets on my last nerve but I’m starting to see that Toya really is fake as h-ll. She will turn on people quickly and it’s always when people think they are cool with her. Simone is right. Toya is pressed about Contessa because she knows Contessa doesn’t respect her. But most of them don’t respect Toya. So it is what it is.
