Bershan Shaw doesn’t think RHONY is boring.
While some “Real Housewives of New York” fans are supportive of the addition of Eboni K. Williams, others are not. And they think Eboni has discussed race, politics and black culture way too much on the current season. Bravo disagrees, and they recently put a statement affirming their support of Eboni and her actions on the show.
Bershan Shaw addressed the backlash during a recent interview with the In The Know podcast.
She said, “I don’t think it’s boring…let’s be honest, it was Covid.” Bershan continued, “So you couldn’t film at all these great restaurants…party. New York was shut down. You could look down the street and see no one on the street. So you couldn’t party like a rockstar and all this other stuff. Give us a little break on that.”
Bershan also said that some of the topics brought up by Eboni were actually needed, “The whole educational…I think it was needed. I think it’s conversations and people don’t like to talk about tough conversations.”
But Bershan also wanted fans to know that more drama is on the way, “I always say I like how Bravo did it because they didn’t put it all upfront. Every episode gets better. It’s going to get better and better. Wait for it. It’s a lot coming up.”
