Does Wendy Osefo have any regrets after Monique Samuels had the same issue with Gizelle Bryant?
Wendy Osefo supported Candiace Dillard after she was assaulted by Monique Samuels on “Real Housewives of Potomac.” While some fans of the show understood this, others called her out on social media. And they felt Wendy should have been neutral since last season was her first on the show. But Wendy stood firm on her loyalty to Candiace. She also formed what she felt were friendships with Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon. They were also Team Candiace. Each woman refused to film with Monique after the altercation.
On the current season, Wendy is having her own issues with Gizelle and Robyn. They have been critical of Wendy’s changes. And Gizelle is the one who brought the cheating rumors about Eddie Osefo to the group. Monique accused Gizelle of bringing the rumors about her marriage to the show last season. But since the scene was edited out, Gizelle felt as if Monique didn’t have a reason to be upset.
When Wendy was recently on “Watch What Happens Live,” a fan of the show wrote in and asked her if she regrets befriending Gizelle now knowing what happened with Monique.
The question was, “Seeing how Gizelle is operating this season with rumors regarding your family, do you have any regrets getting close to her last season when Monique said Gizelle was also involved with rumors with her family?”
In response to this, Wendy said, “So that’s interesting because I was new last season. And so I didn’t hear about the rumors until I watched it when everyone else watched it. Gizelle said that in a confessional so I wasn’t privy to any rumors while we were filming.”
