There is no understanding between Ryan and Anthony.
Ryan and Anthony continue their conversation. It has gotten heated. Ryan can’t explain why he does such hurtful things to people. And he doesn’t have a reason why he slept with Anthony’s baby momma behind his back. In a green screen interview, Ryan says he’s not trying to repair his friendship with Anthony. But he just wants to apologize and accept the consequences. With no real answer given, Anthony decides to walk away.
Kitty meets up with Draya. She’s trying to get more tattoo artists for 2nd City Ink. She wants Draya to return to the shop. Draya is reluctant because of the drama that went down the last time. So she needs some time to think over the offer.
Things are still challenging between Nina and Phor.
Phor and Nina’s relationship is still rocky. Nina doesn’t like the fact that Phor comes home so late. But he is irritated that she doesn’t understand that he’s coming late from the studio. Nina brings up that it’s not that he’s always at the studio. He likes to go out and party, too. Phor isn’t hearing this and he says he has a right to go out when he wants to. But Nina thinks Phor should be home with her since she’s like 8 months pregnant.
The issue is Phor is realizing that he and Nina didn’t really know each other when they conceived their child. So it’s been a lot of bumps in the road.
Nina breaks down in tears and Phor tries to calm her down.
Ryan gives Phor and Don an update on Anthony.
Don is feeling better after his medical scare. So he’s focused on opening up his gym. And he and Ryan want to throw a dadchelor party for Phor since he has a baby on the way.
They discuss Ryan’s recent conversation with Anthony. Phor and Don have friendships with Anthony. So they haven’t gotten involved and prefer to just let the two men figure things out on their own.
Charmaine is already annoyed.
Kitty FaceTimes Charmaine. Charmaine is emotional as she discusses her father’s battle with cancer. She has a lot on her plate. But now Kitty thinks they need to hire artists. However, Charmaine wants to be the only person to make hiring decisions after her fall out with Jess last season. So she’s not feeling the fact that Kitty already asked Draya to return.
Ashley and Nina are en route to the dadchelor party even though they weren’t invited. Nina says that it’s been bothering her that Phor isn’t getting along with her mother. They had a heated text exchange that Thor doesn’t think he can get over.
Despite their past issues, Draya and Charmaine’s conversation goes great. And Draya agrees to return to 2nd City Ink.
Phor continues to be frustrated.
Nina and her mother Jean are getting manicures at the nail salon when Phor arrives.
Jean brings up the text message exchange. She didn’t mean to upset Phor. And she just wanted to protect Nina. So she apologizes. Phor accepts her apology and he says that he and Nina just aren’t on the same page. She wants them to live together. And Phor thinks they should back off on their relationship because they keep clashing. He accuses Nina of being controlling. And Nina thinks Phor just doesn’t want a “structured relationship.”
They begin arguing. Phor believes Nina thinks she’s perfect. So there is no way they can have a healthy conversation. Irritated, he walks out of the nail salon.
