Charmaine Bey’s husband Neek Bey has had enough.
Miss Kitty and Charmaine Bey‘s fall out has a lot of “Black Ink Crew Chicago” fans talking on social media. For many, they just didn’t see it coming. When Kitty first appeared on the Chicago show, she came to Charmaine’s mother’s funeral to show support. And Charmaine said that it was Kitty who did her mother’s makeup. Charmaine then decided to hire Kitty to work at 2nd City Ink after Kitty was shunned by the New York crew. So it seemed like the two women had built a solid friendship and supported each other often.
Unfortunately, things have gone left between them. While Charmaine was dealing with her father’s cancer battle, she hasn’t been on top of 2nd City Ink business. This has led to a lot of tension between her and Kitty. And after an argument and harsh words, Charmaine told Kitty she no longer worked at her shop. And Draya Penzo also had complaints and quit.
Charmaine’s husband Neek Bey feels as if producers have placed too much focus on Charmaine’s issues with Draya and Kitty. And he questioned why more focus wasn’t placed on Charmaine’s situation with her father Michael Walker’s cancer battle. Apparently, Charmaine was also pregnant with her second child during this time.
On Instagram, he called out the producers.
Neek wrote, “Shame on production/network for not showing Char’s full story with her dad but instead show two people that don’t work in her shop in real life. For someone to have to go through the fakeness while being pregnant and dealing with a father with cancer…this whole sh*t is a joke.”
