The family retreat is around the corner.
Londie and Lauren discuss the drama that went down at Porsha’s birthday cookout. Lauren thinks Porsha rushing into her current engagement has caused a lot of tension in the family. So when they get together, it can be messy. Regardless, Lauren thinks a family retreat can help. She’s going to get Dennis to agree to attend. And Porsha will work on Simon. Londie says they can use Dennis’ Versace robe to get him to commit to going to Mexico. He’s been asking for Porsha to return the robe. They sneak into Porsha’s house to get the robe and the rest of his clothes that have been sitting in her closet.
Porsha attempts to make Simon a “Nigerian breakfast.” He’s happy to see this as he enters her house. In a green screen interview, Simon says no woman has ever cared to do anything like that for him before. She tells Simon about the retreat and the fact that Dennis was invited. He says he
is fine with this. And he just wants their co-parenting relationship to be positive.
The retreat could be nothing but more drama.
Londie and Lauren meet Dennis at a restaurant. They tell him he will get his Versace robe back if he agrees to attend the retreat in Mexico. In a green screen interview, Dennis says Mexico will be turned into Messy-co with Porsha’s family involved. He also says Porsha’s family likes “healing” activities but the healing never actually happens. So he doesn’t want to go. Regardless, he really wants his robe back. So he may not have a choice.
Porsha tells her mother about the accusations momma Gina made. Diane claims she never said Porsha cheated on Dennis. But Gina says she did. And she’s tired of Porsha acting like she’s a saint. In a green screen interview, Dennis says Porsha isn’t innocent and they were still together when she did her dirt. Neither Dennis nor Gina are confident about attending the retreat.
Mamma Diane ends up not going to Mexico at the last minute after she becomes sick.
Dennis is being watched closely.
When everyone arrives in Mexico, Dennis is annoyed that Lauren has put him in the same suite as her and Londie. He wants his privacy but Lauren says she doesn’t want him to find women to bring back to the hotel. So she’s just trying to keep an eye out on him. He later calls a woman and asks if she’s getting on a flight to Mexico the next morning.
Dinner doesn’t go well. Porsha accuses Dennis of only coming to Mexico for his Versace robe, and Dennis gets irritated. He says he came because the trip is important. But he does want his robe back as well.
Porsha and Dennis clash.
Porsha’s cousin Storm calls out Dennis. They have a bad history because she used to work at one of his clubs. He fired her over poor work performance. Storm says Dennis used to flirt with other women while he was with Porsha. This made her uncomfortable at work. She criticizes Londie and Lauren for getting his robe and this leads to an argument between Londie and Storm.
Dennis and Porsha argue as Porsha thinks he’s just there for his robe. As their voices get louder, Lauren goes off. And she tells everyone to get it together and stop making the retreat about a robe.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger.
