Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s friendship crumbled on RHOP.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard has had controversial moments on the show. However, her fallout with Monique Samuels was one that divided the fan base. Originally, the two women were very close. In fact, Candiace and Monique would spend time together when the cameras were not rolling. Their husbands even formed their own friendship. So it seemed as if nothing would be able to come between them. However, during Monique’s last season on the show, she began to question Candiace’s actions. In particular, she questioned Candiace’s budding friendship with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.
Monique believed that Charrisse was spreading rumors about her marriage. She had fallen out with a close friend, and she accused her former friend of telling Charrisse and others on the show that Monique had an affair with her trainer. So Monique’s youngest son wasn’t Chris Samuels’ biological child. Monique denied there was any truth to these rumors. And she strongly felt like Charrisse brought the rumors to Gizelle.
Gizelle mentioned the rumors while filming the show, so Monique was furious. Despite this, Monique decided to still be cordial to Gizelle. So when Gizelle told her that she and Ashley Darby heard that Candiace befriended Charrisse to hurt Monique, Monique started to believe this.
After tension between Monique and Candiace worsened, things got violent between them while they were filming at a winery. Monique’s choices put her at odds with the majority of the cast. They chose not to film with her and only Ashley and Karen Huger continued to.

Monique decided to leave the show after the polarizing season. However, Candiace would later have a huge blowup with newbie Mia Thornton. She threw lettuce at Mia during an argument and some of the other women on the show felt as if Candiace’s actions towards Mia proved that she’s the problem. Andy Cohen shared a similar point of view.
At the reunion, Candiace pushed back at this. She pointed out that she’s not the only one who has been lethal with her words. But she seems to receive the most backlash, which she feels is unfair.
Well, a new report about a housewife being fired has some RHOP fans speculating that Candiace may not be on the upcoming season. And Candiace has responded.
