The RHOP cast is still feeling the effects of Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels’ altercation.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard considered walking away from the show after her altercation with Monique Samuels. The two women used to be close. But rumors about Candiace’s budding friendship with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan were the beginning of their demise. Monique had a nasty falling out with Charrisse. So she listened when Gizelle Bryant told her that it was being alleged Candiace befriended Charrisse to be shady to Monique. After violence occurred at the winery with the camera crew in tow, Monique found herself iced out by some of the other cast members. Candiace no longer wanted to film with Monique. And she threatened to leave the show if Monique returned for season 6.
In the end, Monique decided to quit. But the other women haven’t forgotten about all of the drama. So when Candiace clashed with newbie Mia Thornton, they had flashbacks.
To no surprise, all of this comes up at the reunion. Gizelle has already said that she doesn’t feel like Candiace learned anything from the situation with Monique. On the first part of the reunion, Andy Cohen calls out Candiace. And he expresses that he feels she had some blame for what went down. This sets off Candiace, too.
