Briana Latrise and Egypt Criss clashed over Sam Wright.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” star Briana Latrise used to be very close to Egypt Criss. In fact, they were often two parts of a trio with Tahira “Tee Tee” Francis. However, things changed after Egypt met Sam Wright. Briana and Tee Tee saw red flags immediately. Both have heard gossip about Sam’s past. And they began to suspect that Sam was with Egypt to advance his music career. The tension that Sam had with both Tee Tee and Briana began to eat away at Egypt. She felt Sam was being mistreated and wrongfully judged. So she began to distance herself from Tee Tee and Briana.
As Egypt began to pull back on her friendships, the tension worsened. In fact, Egypt punched Briana while they were filming the show. Briana says she was restrained by security before she could even defend herself. Interestingly enough, Egypt said she swung because she felt threatened. These days Egypt and Briana don’t even film scenes of GUHH together. And Tee Tee doesn’t talk to Egypt or Pepa much.
Interestingly enough, Briana did have some things to say about Egypt and Sam during a recent interview. And she believes that it was Sam who hyped Egypt up to swing on her. Plus, Briana firmly feels like the relationship is just harming Egypt’s reputation.
