Nessie doesn’t have a place at Tim’s shop due to her messy breakup with Ken.
Lemeir goes looking for shop locations with Barbie and Ken. They end up discussing the blowup that took place between Ken and Nessie at the pop-up shop. Ken says that he argued with Nessie a lot while they were together. So that argument was just more of the same. And he doesn’t think he can be around her like that because they just can’t get along. Interestingly enough, Nessie tells Vudu that she thought that she would always have a spot at Lemeir’s shop if things didn’t work out with KP. However, she now sees she can’t work with Ken.
Cory tells KP, Tim, and Star that they passed the inspection. So now they can officially open up IAM. However, Tim needs to work on how he talks to the artists, especially the female artists. They have been complaining about how Tim talks to them. As for KP, he still isn’t sure who will be loyal. And who really wants to work with Lemeir.
Tim explains his passion.
Nessie meets with Lemeir. They talk about the blowup with Ken. Nessie still feels like Lemeir abandoned their friendship after she and Ken broke up. And Lemeir believes there’s really no way that Nessie can work at his shop because Ken is his partner.
Tim talks to his mother and grandmother about the complaints about him from female artists. He says he was raised by strong women so he’s not trying to be disrespectful. Tim feels he’s just passionate about helping KP succeed and do something positive for Compton. Plus, his time in jail has made him want to make sure that he never goes back down that path again.
Nessie and Alana quit.
KP and Tim hold another meeting to see who is really ready to move forward now that IAM is ready to open. Nessie quits once she realizes there is still some hesitance coming from KP and Tim concerning her. And after her conversation with Lemeir, she’s ready to do things on her own.
Vudu also quits because she feels KP is disrespectful with the way he speaks to her. She is also offended after KP says Nessie is trash.
Alana, Ink Drippin, and Polo remain. And Alana says she’s not going to leave because she’s been there since the beginning.
