Charmaine wasn’t happy with the previous season of “Black Ink Crew Chicago.”

Black Ink Crew Chicago” star Charmaine had a tough recent season. Her dad was battling cancer. On top of that, running her tattoo shop became a frustrating experience. She had tension with a couple of tattoo artists who took issue with how she did things. In fact, Miss Kitty had some complaints and concerns as well. She knew it had to be difficult for Charmaine to run a business and be there to support her father. Plus, Charmaine was also pregnant with baby number two at the time. So Kitty offered to take charge of certain things. Charmaine wasn’t feeling this and she wanted to remain in charge of things at 2nd City Ink. So they clashed about this.

Charmaine fired Kitty. Some fans of the show started to call Charmaine out for her actions on social media. And she said that the drama was just made for television. People like Kitty and Draya never actually worked at her shop. They were just there for the cameras and her real artists aren’t on the show.

Well, Charmaine’s father passed away. And she felt it was insensitive for producers and cast members to make the drama the focal point of the storyline while she was grieving.

Apparently, last season was so much that Charmaine decided it is time to walk away from “Black Ink Crew Chicago.” She confirmed she won’t be on the upcoming season. And she’s no longer in a good place with Ryan.

  1. Charmaine SIGNED UP FOR ALL OF WHAT WE WATCHED. SHE NEEDS TO STOP BLAMING PRODUCTION FOR ALLOWING US TO WATCH HER MOTHER’S FUNERAL AND LATER HER FATHER. SHE DEFINITELY ALLOWED US TO SEE HER TURNING UP.
She won’t rightfully own her parts in any of her downfalls on the show. She made sure the cameras were on her from the beginning.
I guess Neek has made her see things in a whole different light. He doesn’t want her to have any relationships with anyone.
Miss Kitty was trying to help not take over the shop. HBIC? Okay…whatever. Ryan could’ve helped her be a woman in business which ain’t easy. Her Mother questioned why she was opening a tattoo shop and didn’t tatt. I think she was trying to get the one-up on Ryan. Girl, please.

  2. Well Ms Chairmaine You Know That You Are a Phenomenal Cook!!!!! Start your YouTube Cooking channel Back up again!!!! RYan is A “Short Man” Complex having Looser!!!!

Besides….. Whose still watching that Garbage Anyway!!!

  3. Chairmaine thinks we are stupid! She let VH1 film her family every chance she gets

    Zero sympathy for her!

  4. Charmaine needs therapy. What I saw was her getting defensive and petty anytime anyone gave her any constructive criticism. She wanted to play “boss b-tch” but lacks true boss skills. She pooped on Jess, Kitty, Draya and Prince. She was wrong, wrong, wrong. Ryan tried to give her advice to go grieve because all she’s doing is pushing peoole away whi are trying to help. She did experience great loss, but that doesn’t make it ok to treat everyone who wanted to help you like sh-t. Charmaine has a lot of growing up to do. Don’t insert yourself in your loyal artists relationship, spreading rumors when they aren’t fact. Then whine that you’re a woman while calling Prince a b-tch, commenting on his relationship & what he is or is not doing for his girl. Either you want to be a boss, or you want to be petty and whine that you’re a woman. Neek is lame. As a husband, you need to calm your wife down cuz she isn’t always right. Love is letting someone know when they are wrong. She needs to stop blaming production for her bad behavior. She should’ve taken Ryan’s advice..h-ll, all of their advice, but she didn’t & she was shown how she was. Grieving and acting crazy, treating people like crap and amateurish as a business owner. Take responsibility, own YOUR mess & apologize & grow. Period.
