LAMDC is a show Monique Samuels feels good about.
Monique Samuels wasn’t happy with how her last season on “Real Housewives of Potomac” went down. Her controversial altercation with Candiace Dillard became a hot topic. And her fallout with Candiace only led to her having tension with some of the others. In fact, they made it clear that they supported Candiace. Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Wendy Osefo even stopped filming scenes with Monique. Given how much drama took place, it wasn’t hard for Monique to make the decision to walk away from the show. And she said that she didn’t feel like she and Chris Samuels were being treated fairly behind the scenes.
Now Monique has found a new home on OWN. She is on “Love & Marriage: DC.” And she and Chris are opening up about their marriage much more on the new platform than they did on RHOP.
She discussed this on Instagram Live. Monique said, “I’m much happier. I don’t feel like I have a wall up anymore. Even in filming this season. I felt like my first season when I was on RHOP where I could just be me. And not have to be guarded. So as each year went by, I just felt more and more guarded before whereas now I feel like how they’re telling the story is pretty much how things happened.”
Monique continued, “Obviously, can’t put all the details in every episode it’s just so much, you know? We’re filming scenes for like 3 hours sometimes. And then they have to chop that down into a five-minute clip. So it’s a lot. But at least it’s not being…there’s nothing contrived. There’s nothing like, ‘Let me just pop this right there to fit my agenda.'”
At one point during the live session, Monique told her followers that she doesn’t want to keep discussing RHOP.
She said, “Y’all stop with the RHOP stuff. I don’t even like mentioning that other show. But it is what it is. It’s a part of my life. Y’all bringing up stuff like watch Season 5. Watch the reunion. Everything that y’all are talking about already happened.”
Leave it in the past. There’s no need to discuss anything from RHOP. She has another job and storyline to tell. She doesn’t need it, even though some of them seem to.

She needs to move on. She was just talking about the cast on the late show with Carlos. Someone could not keep a man did not no how to dress and that she was still friends with Karen. Ashley and she even talks to Andy. I was really surprised when she was talking about that. If you talk about The people then everyone will keep talking.
Yet she has no problems doing full interviews about it.
