RHOP was a chapter Monique Samuels was ready to end.
Monique Samuels has moved on from “Real Housewives of Potomac.” In fact, fans can catch her on “Love & Marriage: DC” instead. Of course, Monique’s departure from RHOP followed a major controversy. Her friendship with Candiace Dillard went left during Season 5. Ashley Darby told Gizelle Bryant that she heard Candiace had befriended Charrisse Jackson-Jordan to get under Monique’s skin. Gizelle then repeated this to Monique. And the tension between Candiace and Monique became hard to ignore at this point. Eventually, things worsened during Monique’s lakehouse trip. So when the cast took a trip to a winery, words were exchanged. And Monique and Candiace’s issues turned physical.
After the altercation, the other women were very opinionated about what happened. In the end, Monique was someone that the others wanted to avoid. Ashley and Karen Huger were the only two who continued to film scenes with Monique. After a very messy reunion, Monique decided that it was time for her to walk away from the show. When she was asked why she left, Monique said she took issue with her marriage being a hot topic on the show. She really didn’t like that she had been accused of cheating on Chris Samuels with her trainer. And she was outraged that her youngest son was accused of not being Chris’ biological child. These are claims Monique has denied.
Monique said these rumors were spread by a former friend. And she believes Charrisse and Gizelle were the main two who didn’t mind repeating the accusations.
Well, Monique feels like she and Chris were able to get a fresh start on LAMDC. And she recently told her supporters to stop asking her about “Real Housewives of Potomac.”

She needs to move on. She was just talking about the cast on the late show with Carlos. Someone could not keep a man did not no how to dress and that she was still friends with Karen. Ashley and she even talks to Andy. I was really surprised when she was talking about that. If you talk about The people then everyone will keep talking.
Yet she has no problems doing full interviews about it.
