Robyn Dixon Says Monique Samuels Was Good for RHOP + Gizelle Bryant Throws Shade

Monique Samuels caused a lot of debates when she left RHOP.

Monique Samuels moved on to “Love & Marriage: DC” after “Real Housewives of Potomac.” Her altercation with Candiace Dillard just made being in the group harder. The only allies she had were Karen Huger and Ashley Darby. Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Wendy Osefo no longer filmed with her. Gizelle even hired security. She said she worried about her safety.

Well, Monique got even with Gizelle at the reunion. She pulled out a binder. And she accused Jamal Bryant of entertaining another woman while he was supposed to be back together with Gizelle.

The binder moment went viral on social media. Some people who didn’t watch the show until Candiace and Monique’s fallout were drawn to the show due to the clips. To no surprise, Gizelle didn’t enjoy being the main target of Monique’s binder.

Monique’s departure wasn’t something Robyn or Gizelle mourned. However, both did admit that Monique was a great addition to RHOP.

Carlos King recently appeared on, “Reasonably Shady.” And he was told he could ask the besties a couple of questions.

He asked, “Would y’all say Monique Samuels was good for the show?”

Robyn Dixon thinks Monique Samuels was good for the show.

Robyn answered, “When we filmed the show and Season 1 was about to premiere, I said we don’t have any color on this show. I said we’re too light-skinned. We need some brown-skinned people on the show. And I said people aren’t going to connect with us. I said people who are used to watching Atlanta are not going to connect with us because they’re just going to see a cast full of light-skinned people. So when Monique was casted, I was so happy.”

She continued, “I was so happy to see a beautiful, brown-skinned woman cast on our show that’s living the Potomac life they wanted to see. I thought she was a fabulous addition to our show. Not for just that reason alone but I thought that was so important for people to see that. And for them to be able to connect with us and do I think she was a good addition to the show? Yeah. We had success so…a lot of people tuned in. They saw Monique and they said, ‘Oh, let me watch this show and see what it’s about.'”

Robyn also felt like fans could relate to Monique, “And then people were able to appreciate the show for what it was and not look at the show and say I can’t relate to anyone. So just for that reason alone, I think she was a great addition.”

Gizelle agreed but threw a little shade, “So I agree with everything Robyn said but currently, she’s exactly where she should be which is with you on another network.

  1. Gizelle is a beautiful woman….but she has a ole nasty spirit within her!!! And Robyn ain’t too far from behind her…

  2. The problem was that from the first conversation Monique had with Gizelle she was so jealous of Monique that she literally was green with envy. From that day on, she worked against Monique. Gizelle couldn’t compete.

  3. That’s a bunch of bull because they had a dark skin cast member already. I can’t think of her name her and Monique were actually friends. Her husband was a basketball ball coach. I can’t stand those two green eyed creeps

  4. Look at Robyn being diplomatic and Giselle being the hater that she is. Robyn forgot about their friend Charriss, she’s dark with the big nose and lips. Maybe she was to dark? Monique was good for the show. From the start she didn’t back down to Green-eyed Brandits but gave as good as she got.
