Melody Holt sets the record straight.
Recently, Melody Holt and Martell Holt were in court in a Madison County, AL courtroom for the case, and many fans speculated about what occurred. Many felt Melody won this recent battle in court. Despite Melody posting emojis leading fans to ponder her victory, Melody recently appeared on Instagram Live. While live, Melody let fans know that the custody case hasn’t begun.
According to Melody, she did what she had to do regarding turning in paperwork but Martell hasn’t.
During the live, Mel said the following:
I love that you guys are looking forward to me being victorious. But guys… there’s a lot of information that’s been out that’s not accurate. There hasn’t been a decision. We haven’t even really started the trial yet. So I want you guys to know that. Know what I’m saying? Like, I appreciate y’all praying, and please continue to pray. I appreciate y’all praying. I know some of y’all have been DM’ing me, telling me that you all are fasting.
But I would be remiss to not let you guys know what’s going on. I don’t want y’all misled in any way. So, the fact of the matter is, is that we have not started the trial yet.
I’ve turned in everything I need to turn in and that I was asked to turn in. And, um, it takes more than one person doing that so we have not started the trial.
But please continue to pray and um, eventually, we will get there. So I just wanted y’all to know that. [As] I said, I don’t want y’all to be misled.

So is Martell just dragging this out to be petty? This case will be dismissed if he keeps doing this.
I find this disgraceful and distasteful that they’re putting this on social media. They should both be ashamed of themselves. Their children are able to read this. How do you think they may feel seeing their mom and dad, people that they love, fighting, disparaging one another and being vindictive and hurtful? Some things just don’t need to be shared. How embarrassing!🙍🏽♀️

Martell is probably just stalling so she can’t change her name. He doesn’t have enough credibility to get full custody. So this seems like an attempt to stop the name changing process.
She looks beautiful as always. She will prevail because she has God’s favor. Martell hates that Melody is so loved and has so many fans. The jealousy will destroy him if he doesn’t wake up.
They need to stop getting on social media before someone:s words get used against them.
This seems like a storyline to me… just saying. All of a sudden they both get back cool and now it’s a custody case.
