One of Ryan’s artists goes off.
Draya tells Miss Kitty that she’s trying to figure out what her next move is. She may need to move closer to her family. Prince is thinking things over as well since he wants to open up a tattoo shop with his brother. Phor thinks this is a good idea considering Prince tattoos and his brother is a piecer.
Ryan planned for artists to participate in the sale event taking place at the shop. He figured it would help increase foot traffic. However, an artist named Jet causes drama after he starts yelling at production. He’s upset he was told his music was too loud during a scene.
Turns out the 9 Mag artists who aren’t on the show like Jet have a lot of frustrations with producers. Jet claims that artists who aren’t on the show aren’t considered for promotions. And he thinks this is unfair to artists who were around before the cameras.
It becomes very clear that Ryan needs to have a talk with his artists. So Ryan calls for a mandatory staff meeting.
It’s time for a change.
Don and Ashley haven’t talked much since their explosive counseling session. And they worry their marriage won’t survive their latest rift.
Ryan hears people out at the 9 Mag staff meeting. Jet is tired of the show. He says he firmly believes the cameras and rules from production have turned artists and potential clients off.
It’s the night of Phor’s going away party. Prince confirms he’s opening up his own shop with his brother. And Draya is moving to New York to be closer to family.
Ryan reveals he’s considering walking away from the show so his artists and shop can thrive. He makes Phor emotional after he gifts him photos from their younger 9 Mag days.
Phor is excited about his new life in Dallas. Don is hopeful things will work out with Ashley. And Ryan is ready to take 9 Mag to the next level.
What are your thoughts on the season finale?
Can someone pass me a tissue, please? 🤧 Ryan, Don & Phor brought a new kind of ENERGY that's left an IMPACT on the city of Chicago. 🖤 #BlackInkCHI pic.twitter.com/s2q0w6Vz1S

Too continue to grow, one has to make changes.
I can only imagine the demands put on them from production.
Jet mos def has a point.
I’ll miss Chi-town fo sho.
I think this is a way to end the shows since Cesar has been fired…Chicago and Compton are my favorites Black Ink NY is TOO RATCHET…
I think Ryan should do whatever he thinks is best for his shop, it was good when it started and got the business known maybe now is the time for him to stop the cameras and get back to real business.
Please end this scripted Mess🙄
