Melody’s happy to hear Destiny and Stormi buried the hatchet.
The episode begins with Melody inviting Stormi over to help with a photoshoot. When Stormi arrives, she delivers good news. She tells Melody that Target added her Canvas Beauty products to shelves in even more stores.
Stormi then recaps her talk with Destiny. Melody’s happy to hear they ended their beef. They also talk about the chaos that occurred at Destiny’s re-opening and how Tiffany got Destiny’s side first. Melody disagrees with Destiny and denies that she started the drama.
Lastly, Melody tells Stormi about the Comeback Group getting together to talk about Wanda.
Tiffany and Louis reach an agreement.
Meanwhile, Tiffany’s in her office when she meets with the owner of an eyewear company that focuses on minority customers. She wants to partner with them to bring more African Americans into clinical trials. After the call, Louis walks in. She lets Louis know she has an OB/GYN appointment to remove her IUD. This conversation turns to Tiffany apologizing for changing her mind about having children.
Louis reluctantly agrees on the condition that she’ll remain off of birth control for six months.
Everyone heads out for Martell’s sit-down.
The next day, both Scott couples are heading to their sit-down dinner and the Scotts are dressed to the nines. Maurice thinks it’s going to be a Comeback Group meeting but Kimmi lets him know it’s going to be about moving forward. Specifically, how to conduct themselves in the aftermath of the incident at Destiny’s event.
LaTisha and Marsau are going to do their best to keep their cool during the dinner. Marsau asks LaTisha how she’ll feel to see Melody and she isn’t sure. In fact, she wants to call Wanda to get her side because she says she didn’t see what happened at first.
Meanwhile, Martell and Melody arrive at the restaurant separately. Martell wants to present a united front despite no longer being married to Melody. Melody is coming into this meeting all business. She isn’t trying ready to be friendly once more.
While on the way, LaTisha calls Wanda and gets the scoop from Wanda’s perspective, specifically why she spoke about Melody’s kids. Wanda tells her about hearing Melody speak about LaTisha’s father on “The Nightcap with Carlos King.” She went on Facebook Live to respond, saying, “If you wanna talk about baby daddies, let’s talk about that last baby.”
Melody took Wanda’s comment as a shot at her youngest daughter’s paternity.
Eventually, LaTisha and Marsau arrive first. As LaTisha and Marsau talk about the incident, Kimmi and Maurice arrive. They both notice the tension in the room and Martell and Melody haven’t even arrived.
They mention how this feels like a Comeback Group meeting.
Lastly, Melody and Martell arrive together and the Scotts notice they are on the same page. Martell lets everyone know what made him call the meeting. Producers recap past meetings they’ve had that had tense moments.
LaTisha defends Wanda.
Martell starts things off by saying that Wanda needs to go. He mentions to LaTisha that Wanda’s Facebook Live crossed the line. It also wasn’t the first time Wanda spoke about his kids, referring to the time Wanda took a shot at their hair.
LaTisha says she called Wanda and Wanda told her that she simply spoke to things Martell alluded to, which irritates Melody.
Next, LaTisha brings up that her mom and Melody have both taken shots at each other. Melody replies she was simply responding to Wanda calling her a *** during a YouTube segment she had.
Maurice says Melody should’ve reacted differently but Marsau agrees with Melody. Marsau brings up to Maurice how he confronted Tiffany last season for talking about Monster getting in trouble in school.
Marsau brings up that Wanda went in on him, Kimmi, and others unprovoked. Ultimately, Marsau says he’ll take whatever actions necessary if Wanda continues this behavior.
Despite this, LaTisha wants more context and details about what Wanda says on social media.
Marsau says he nor Maurice can control their brother Mark.
The conversation turns to Maurice and Marsau’s older brother Mark next. Maurice brings up Vanessa speaking on the friendship with Mark at the reunion sparking Mark going off on social media. Marsau says he nor Maurice can control Mark. He tells Kimmi that he would make things worse if he did try to stop Mark.
This leads to everyone comparing Mark to Wanda and the fact that the six of them have respect for one another. Kimmi says it’s people outside of them that are causing tension between the six of them.
They all come to an agreement to avoid doing things on social media and do what they can to keep Mark and Wanda from running amok with their social media posts.
What are your thoughts about the episode?
Every where melody goes trouble follows, she is always talking about God, well God don’t like ugly. Wanda is an older woman and melody acts like a kid that always wants to be noticed. Every friend that she has she eventually gets mad at them, get over yourself with fake hair, breast, and personality.
Amen! She is embarrassing and toxic. Destiny was right, she is condescending and fake. I cannot believe she was chosen to open the Orion amphitheater.
Totally agree Melody is use to having her way and Tisha alway end the lowest out of the six thus is due to her husband constantly putting her down so everyone can walk on her. I do believe he wants Melody and any other woman besides his wife.
Lol
Low level thinking and speaking. Mel is always talking about God and yes he is granting her blessing. Dark hearted ppl such as yourself has so much hate/jealousy for others blessings that you are blinded to the bigger picture. WHAT DOES HOW MEL ACT HAS TO DO WITH AND OLD COUNTRY BUMKINS SPEAKING ON AN INNOCENT CHILD?
Why is no one checking Wanda for saying she didn’t say which child she was speaking on when Wanda clearly stated she was talking about Mel’s last baby🤷🏾♀️? And while I’m here I have a question. Am I the only one who thinks Tisha needs to buy her clothes a size larger? During the brawl she had to hold her hand over her crotch the entire time because that pink dress was so short and tight and the front split was way too high. This week her orange dress was too tight, too short and too open in all the wrong places. Maybe she needs a stylist but I digress.
Tisha is dressing like she is coming in late from the club. She ignores everything her ignorant mother does because she is from the same blood. She over pronounces her words when she speaks and it makes her sound uneducated.. just saying 😁
