Ralph Angel returns home.

Micah and Ralph Angel make it out of the Bordelon farmhouse fine. Ralph Angel has a bandaged hand. He doesn’t get a chance to tell Darla what happened as they leave out to tend to co-op farmers.

Micah reminds Ralph Angel to tell Darla about his run-in with Chase. Ralph Angel insists he will when the time is right, after he clears his head.

When they make it to the farm, Ralph Angel insists to Aunt Vi and Billie to not lose sight of Darla. Meanwhile, Aunt Vi receives a call from a hospice. Jimmy Dale is on his deathbed and wants to speak to Aunt Vi.

Back at a co-op farm, Ralph Angel is angrily filling in sandbags and aggressively directing the other farmers. Micah senses he’s still fuming from the run-in with Chase.

At the diner, Nova opens up to Billie about her run-in with Calvin. Nova’s proud that she didn’t cross any boundaries. She’ll even tell Dominic about the run-in. Meanwhile, Billie fell asleep on the couch with Benny. However, Billie’s realizing she can’t stop thinking about Vince.

Aunt Vi learns Jimmy Dale is in hospice.

As they talk, Aunt Vi pulls Billie away to talk about her call with Jimmy Dale. She lets her and Nova know Jimmy Dale won’t make it through the night and she got closure.

Darla listens on and tears up and runs off. At the end of the conversation, Billie tells Aunt Vi that she wants to see him.

After the talk, Aunt Vi runs into Darla crying in the kitchen. She gets Darla to open up about Chase and how she’s scared about telling Ralph Angel. As Darla talks, she realizes she needs to face her fear of facing Chase and telling Ralph Angel.

Back at Copeland’s farm, Mr. Copeland expresses thanks and gratitude to the Co-Op. He also realizes that he now understands the importance of the Co-Op.

When they all head to Aunt Vi’s for a hard-earned dinner, Hollywood thanks Benny for a recent talk he had with Joaquin. Meanwhile, Billie’s processing what she learned about Jimmy Dale. She stands strong, telling Nova the world is a better place without Jimmy Dale.

Billie then passionately rehearses what she’s going to tell Jimmy Dale with Nova’s help.

Darla learns Chase is in town.

Later into the day, Ralph Angel isn’t at the diner and Darla notices Micah knows something. Micah pulls Darla aside about Chase and what Ralph Angel did to him. Darla immediately calls Ralph Angel but he doesn’t pick up. Micah tells Aunt Vi and Hollywood and Hollywood goes with Darla to find him.

They make it to the farm but Ralph Angel isn’t there. Darla uses the time to open up about the situation to Hollywood and Hollywood does his best to motivate her. During the talk, Darla realizes Ralph Angel is at the pool they frequent.

Once they find him, Darla walks in and they talk about Chase. Darla tears up while talking and Ralph Angel tells Darla not to blame herself for what happened. Ralph Angel tells Darla that he could’ve killed Chase if Micah wasn’t there.

The conversation gets tense when Darla reveals Chase knows about Blue. But Darla insists Chase doesn’t want to be in Blue’s life. In the end, they both decide to confront Chase together.

Meanwhile, Aunt Vi and Hollywood get a wonderful visitor. Joaquin’s father Ignacio is back and the boys are happy.

Nova’s inspired to reach out to an old fling.

Bille and Nova are hanging out and reminiscing about their younger days. Nova reminisces about an old love named Camille. Billie suggests she reaches out to Camille to resolve their past.

Meanwhile, Micah gets a text from Zane apologizing about maxing out his credit card, and asks for “disaster **** pix.” Micah doesn’t respond and calls his Mom. He gets Charley’s voicemail and leaves a message, apologizing to Charley.

Later that evening, Ignacio tearfully thanks Aunt Vi and Hollywood for looking out for their sons. Ignacio leaves with his boys to a motel a local non-profit paid for. Aunt Vi gets teary-eyed as they leave and Hollywood consoles her.

Nova heads out to see Camille as she’s leaving her store. Camille’s surprised to see Nova and gives condolences for Ernest’s passing. Nova asks to meet up to explain she ran off the summer they got together and Camille agrees. Nova cries once she’s in the car.

Darla and Ralph Angel confront Chase.

Finally, Chase meets with Darla but is surprised to see Ralph Angel, Hollywood, and Aunt Vi. Chase wants Darla to sign an NDA. She declines and demands he signs a proactive order and his paternal rights in perpetuity. He’s furious. Chase denies assaulting her but then yells he wasn’t the only one. After Ralph Angel punches Chase, Darla demands Chase sign a Stay-Away order and agree to donate $3 million dollars to the Co-Op.

When Chase tries to walk away, they all playback a recording of his recent words where he admitted to assaulting Darla and mentioning he wasn’t the only one that did it.

Chase signs the paperwork.

  1. Hunni…. As the song says…A woman’s got the STRENGTH and a woman gots the POWER!!! In that moment Darla regained her strength and took back her power and I loved every bit of it!!! Darla was like…No more running!! She faced her past and didn’t crumble while doing it!!! That was the best scene of the show for me!!!
