LHHATL Alum Erica Dixon Says Scrappy’s Proposal Wasn’t Genuine + Back At Odds with Bambi

Erica Dixon and Scrappy have a contentious history.

“Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” alum Erica Dixon didn’t take long to become a fan favorite as she opened up about her on-and-off romance with Scrappy beginning with the show’s first season. Despite sharing a daughter together, Scrappy and Erica just couldn’t make it work. The biggest issue for Erica was that Scrappy wasn’t faithful. She said this is something that became a constant issue in their relationship. It later came out that he had been messing around with Erica and Shay Johnson at the same time. This is what led to Shay storming off of the stage after Scrappy proposed to Erica at the reunion.

Another obstacle in Scrappy and Erica’s romance was Momma Dee. Momma Dee was very critical of Erica while she was with Scrappy. In fact, Momma Dee accused Erica of not being there for Scrappy enough. She felt like Scrappy needed someone as “overbearing” as her. So she was critical of Erica’s treatment of Scrappy often. And this eventually led to some explosive moments between them on the show.

Despite a rocky past, Momma Dee pushed for Erica and Scrappy to make peace. She realized how contentious co-parenting became for the former couple. And she was hoping they could resolve things while they filmed, “VH1: Family Reunion.” So Momma Dee was happy when Erica seemingly made peace with Bambi and Scrappy.

Interestingly enough, Erica gave an update during a recent “Where Are They Now?” special. She confirmed she’s no longer on good terms with Scrappy and Bambi. And she also said that Scrappy slept with Shay while he was engaged to Erica.
