Co-parenting hasn’t improved for Scrappy and Erica Dixon.
“Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” fans thought the bad blood between Scrappy, Bambi, and Erica Dixon ended when they hashed things out on “VH1: Family Reunion.” Momma Dee said that she was tired of Erica and Scrappy struggling with their co-parenting relationship. And she felt like filming the spinoff show gave them the opportunity to put everything out on the table.
Bambi made peace with Erica before Scrappy did. She even told Erica that she now realizes that Scrappy may have instigated issues between them. And she was willing to be supportive of Erica even if Scrappy had no plans to.
Scrappy was hesitant to talk to Erica until Bambi did. And he and Erica were able to hash things out in a separate conversation.
Well, Erica recently appeared on the “Where Are They Now?” special. She gave an update on how co-parenting is going now. And she said, “There’s no co-parenting happening with me and Scrappy.” She continued, “I thought Bambi and I had came to some type of resolution at the family reunion special but it turns out that was not the case.”
Erica Dixon found happiness after moving on from Scrappy.
Erica also said that things didn’t go south with Momma Dee until her romance with Scrappy began, “Momma Dee and I didn’t start bumping heads until me and him decided to be in a relationship.”
She thinks Scrappy wasn’t genuine when he proposed to her because he was still messing around with Shay Johnson, “Let me tell you why I knew Scrappy wasn’t genuine when he proposed to me. I didn’t understand why Shay was acting the way that she did. But Shay was because she had got a house in her name for him. And I wanna say a car and then even after the proposal, he was still sleeping with her.”
Erica added, “I actually felt really good about calling off the engagement for the second time because it was something I actually did. It was me making that decision to just move forward with my life.”
She came to the conclusion that Scrappy would never change.
Regardless, Erica went on to find love with the man who fathered her twin daughters, “I’m currently in a relationship with my children’s father. I am very happy.”
It’s a d-mn shame adults just can’t put the kids first and be mature.
