Meanwhile, Treach gets a call from Layzie Bone. Layzie Bone had a tense family situation and vents to Treach about it. Treach has good news as he tells Layzie Bone about the pregnancy. He vents to Layzie Bone about Sam. It seems Sam wore out his welcome with him. Lastly, they come up with an idea to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of Hip Hop.

Back in Atlanta, Angela and her friend Q are at Angela’s home when Cree stops by. Cree’s impressed by the house and came over with a unique housewarming gift. The gift is a microphone. Cree knew of Angela’s goal of singing. She takes Angela to the bathroom to get her to sing. She also tells Angela about vocal coach Mama Jan.

Angela takes up Cree on her offer of meeting with Mama Jan.

Pepa visits Egypt and Sam at their new home.

Later on, Pepa stops by Egypt and Sam’s new home with a gift; a photo of herself to hang over the baby’s crib. Egypt and Sam purchased a home on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Pepa’s impressed that they bought the home on their own and are handling their own renovations.

Pepa also lets them know Egypt’s going to open for Salt n Pepa and New Kids on the Block. Unfortunately for Sam, Sam won’t be involved with Egypt performing. Egypt’s happy about the opportunity but is nervous about the pregnancy.

Tanice has a strained relationship with her father.

Back in NYC, Tanice is out and about when JoJo calls. Tanice is planning a birthday for baby Joey and they’re going to meet at a potential venue.

Despite this milestone, Tanice isn’t the happiest. Much of this has to do with a strained relationship with her father Buck. Buck is also in the industry and worked with many artists. Jojo and Buck also don’t have a good relationship and he tells Tanice he doesn’t care if Buck doesn’t show up.

Meanwhile, Eric and Devin meet with Sam at a dispensary in LA. When Sam arrives, he tells Devin and Eric about the new baby. Despite being happy, Eric asks about the court case. Sam’s still facing jail time but the case was pushed back.

Lastly, Sam tells Devin and Eric that he’s meeting with Treach to talk about the baby and he’s rather nervous to talk to him.

Cree takes Angela to meet with legendary singing coach Mama Jan.

Angela and Cree meet with singing coach Mama Jan while in Atlanta. Before coaching begins, Jan sits down with Angela to learn more about her. She reveals to Jan that she wants to create a successful song. After the interview, Jan plays a few notes on the piano and has Angela sing the note she’s playing.

Jan lets Angela know she doesn’t know what she’s doing.

Back in New Jersey, JoJo and Tanice celebrate Joey’s first birthday with family and friends. Buck, Tanice’s dad, shows up at the party. Tanice is quite surprised to see him. This is the first time Buck meets his grandson. Despite this, Buck isn’t interested in having a talk with Tanice. Jojo looks on as he does his best to stay out of it.

Jojo’s hopeful Buck and Tanice can work on their issues. However, Buck harbors some resentment towards JoJo. In fact, Buck says JoJo isn’t his grandson. An insulted Tanice walks off.

Treach confronts Sam.

Lastly, Sam meets with Treach at a jewelry store. While they’re talking, Treach grills Sam. Apparently, Treach has some new concerns about Egypt’s relationship with Sam.

Treach lets it be known that if it comes down to it, Sam can’t move in with him. Next, Treach suggests Egypt reach out to Tee Tee as she recently experienced pregnancy.

Overall, Sam is seemingly receptive to Treach and his questions about Sam taking care of all of his children. Sam has ideas and a fight but he doesn’t express plans on guaranteed income coming in.

Sam says he trusts Treach and despite his concerns, Treach will end up proud of his money moves.

  1. Egypt shoulda never married Sam. Just look at him…he’s grimy and looking for a come up.
I don’t understand what they see in him.
Now word on the curb is possible jail or prison time.
B u t hol’ up…how did they purchase or buying a home on their own?
Can Egypt take care of the finances if Sam goes away?

  2. Day 1.. clearly this man is on a come up.. she’s very youg, and doesn’t know what she’s doing. As parents .. they should’ve had that serious firm talk with him… money talks …
