Angela’s unaware of Romeo’s return.
Tonight’s episode begins with the Simmons family heading to Tee Tee’s house party. They don’t know Romeo will be there. Angela’s placed into the hot seat by Jojo over her fledging desire to sing. Vanessa asks Angela if she’s going to take singing seriously.
The rest of the cast makes their way to the party as well and they’re unaware Eric’s bringing Romeo with him. Eventually, the Simmons Family arrives and Eric’s the last to appear. Sakoya feels awkward when she sees Angela due to the drama from last season. She and Angela allegedly dated the same guy years ago. Sakoya went on to have a child with this person.
Later on, Tee Tee shares details of Egypt’s pregnancy, and the ladies share their experiences dealing with pregnancy. Sakoya pulls Angela aside to clear the air and make sure they are cool.
Before Romeo arrives at the party, Romeo recaps his tension with Angela and the Simmons Family. Romeo’s ready to confront everyone, apologize and have the hard conversations needed.
Romeo arrives and extends olive branches to Angela and Jojo.
Eventually, Eric arrives with his guest and jaws drop. Angela greets Romeo and asks if it’s awkward to be at the party and Romeo tells her he wants to talk. She reluctantly agrees to sit down at a later date.
Meanwhile, Jojo talks to Eric about his surprise guest, recapping his beef with Romeo regarding his departure from the show.
To make things even more awkward, Romeo sits between Angela and Tanice. After that short conversation, Romeo pulls Jojo aside. They talk about how everything unraveled and Jojo mentioned how Master P stirred the pot between all of them. Romeo agreed P did not have to meddle.
Jojo and Romeo agree to have a one-on-one talk.
Meanwhile, Egypt and her friend Ashley are dress shopping. While Egypt’s trying on dresses, Egypt vents to Ashley about Sam’s legal issues. The uncertainty behind the sentencing has Egypt stressed. She feels Sam doesn’t deserve to go through all of this.
To add even more stress, Egypt’s nervous about going into labor before the ceremony.
Angela learns she’s going to sing to a crowd.
The next day, the Simmons Family meets with Cree to recap what happened at Tee Tee’s party. Because of Cree’s tension with Tee Tee, Tee Tee didn’t invite her to the party.
So, Angela recaps the party and Romeo’s appearance. She tells Cree about the source of her tension with Romeo when he criticized Angela’s social media presence on the show. Jojo recalls how Master P and Romeo spoke ill of him in the media.
Next, Cree tells Angela she set up a Karaoke event and is going to have Angela participate. This makes Angela nervous as most of the cast will be at the event.
Romeo has a deep conversation with his mom.
Meanwhile, Romeo visits his mom Sonya. They have a deep conversation about Romeo being a father now. Romeo understands how much his mom kept the family together as he was growing up. After the talk, they head out for their date.
Later that night, It’s time for Cree’s Karaoke event. Angela appears to be nervous and Jojo does his best to coach her through it all. Jojo then lets Angela and Cree know everyone is invited.
Layzie Bone is also in attendance and he grills Eric and Jojo for not having their Legacy song together.
Eventually, Angela takes the stage to participate in Karaoke and gets the crowd into her performance.
Jojo and Romeo hash things out.
The next day, Jojo meets Romeo at the basketball court. Jojo was supposed to bring boxing gloves for a workout. Despite this, Romeo has his talk with Jojo. He tells him that he’s changed quite a bit since their tension three years ago. Becoming a new father and dealing with his sister’s passing changed his perspective.
Romeo understands why Jojo defended Angela the way he did. Jojo appreciates the conversation and says his relationship with Romeo is off to a great start.
