Brooke Bailey and Jackie Christie had a heated moment at the BBWLA reunion.
“Basketball Wives” fans have quite a bit to say on social media as a result of an explosive reunion they didn’t really see coming. Many assumed that the fireworks would take place between Jackie Christie and Jennifer Williams. The two women have been clashing throughout the season. As we reported, Jennifer believes Jackie did shady things to “son her” all season long, including booking a deluxe hotel room for the Sacramento trip. Interestingly enough, Jackie said that things kicked off because Jennifer’s comment about her real estate listing was hurtful. So she feels as if it was a respect issue as well.
Although Jennifer and Jackie had been having tension throughout multiple episodes, they were still able to apologize to one another. However, the peaceful moment was quickly overshadowed by Brooke Bailey‘s interjection. And she said that Jackie isn’t the good friend that she wants everyone in the group to think she is.
Brooke said that Jackie crossed the line because she didn’t show her any support or send flowers after her daughter passed away. This led to a heated argument. And for the sake of keeping things from becoming violent, the cast decided to move on from the topic. They circled back to Jennifer and Jackie’s feud.
Jackie Christie and Brooke Bailey had more to say on social media.
Well, Brooke took to Twitter to give some clarity on the situation hours ago. She tweeted, “And to be clear @JackieChristie sent me a very generic text days after my daughter passed. But the friendship that I thought we developed behind the scenes I expected so much more from her. She knows this. We also discussed it at the reunion.”
Jackie took to Twitter to give her side as well. She wrote, “Really hope everyone stops spreading lies & hate about such a sensitive topic. I’m truly disappointed the narrative is being spun in such a way to insinuate or say I did not š call her on the very morning we all found out as I said at the reunion I spoke to Tyler and sent my love, prayers, and condolences.”
She continued, “I was assured she would reach out when she felt up to it. I then texted & dm’d several times after and received back messages when the service came I don’t do well with them so I didn’t go and found out at the reunion my absence was missed and I apologized. Period. At this juncture I’m done going back and forth we spoke and moved on at the Bbwla Reunion.ā¤ļøšš¾”
I thought the issue was Jackie didnāt reach out at all and now Brooke is saying she did but it wasnāt good enough. Ummā¦I think itās time for this show to end.

You’re absolutely right. I believe Jackie has been targeted by the Boujee bootleggers for being a great friend to Malaysia. They know the security in the building was they best friend. And that they would have stopped Jackie from reacting the way she wanted too. Brook had all season to address the issue on sight with Jackie, but she didn’t. Watch when the big dawgs come back, the Boujee bootleggers won’t come at Jackie nor Malaysia like the way they have. Brandie is disrespectful and out of control for being a bully to Duffy. They pick and choose who to mess with on the show. Good luck to all of them I’m just waiting on season 11.
I am too waiting on it to be cancelled. Jackie is the most self important person on tv at least running head to head with Kenya Moore. This woman is too old for the foolishness she keeps up. She is absolutely all ways speaking about how she is the leader, the queen. Claiming they look up to her etc. no one on tv call people a bitch anytime they disagree with her like Jackie Christie. She is a fraud. Tries to act like a different person when on camera with her husband. Always talking about who her husband is etc. but she acr like a street ghetto girl 24/7. Since Shaunie is gone she is trying to elevate her star. But it is totally black and dark. She is a wanna be. Period!

Brooke is a follower and just wanted an issue with Jackie because itās not like Jackie didnāt reach out and give her condolences. Jackie ate her right on up on that stage and during the break though. This is why this show is so wack now. They keep casting cornballs who like playing follow the leader. The plan was to gang up on Malaysia and then once she left they switched to Jackie and Duffey. Brandi is the ringleader. And Brittish is the instigator.

I think it’s distasteful to women that have money to be carrying on in this manner!! I really hope Shaunie returns to the show and especially when they get out of character. I adore all the ladies on the show. I understand where Brooke was coming from, I only wish she would have communicated how she felt. Jennifer has definitely quit being a doormat for people to walk over her. Jackie should be accountable for her actions as Jennifer also. I hope Brandi mends thing between her and Malaysia. I hate she left and they low key bullied her off the show. They did it last season. I’m loyal to my friends but if I see my friends but something’s they did was too much. It should be a reminder that Shaunie is the boss and most Jennifer was there before Jackie.

I had no idea our society has gotten to the place where we are judging the condolences we receive during a tragic loss. I would have appreciated the text but to each its own. I typically donāt sit back and judge who did what when Iām going through something. It just seems like Brooke is using her grief to make Jackie a punching bag.

Death is a very sensitive topic and everyone grieves in their own way. This is something that didn’t need to be talked about at the reunion because now we’re questioning Brooke and Jackie’s motives and I don’t think her daughter’s death should be associated with that kind of negativity.
Ok. Shaunee please get rid of Brooke, Brittish, Jennifer and Brandy. They all sat there when Jennifer told about Malaysia house supposedly being foreclosed and neither had a problem with it but Jennifer wants to give Jackie a cease and desist because she said her car wasn’t stolen and that’s OK. Jennifer bringing a ledger of Jackie’s returns was so elementary. I don’t think a whole lot of people are chopping at the bits to see this documentary about Jennifer’s men. Brittish sat there like Django, cosigning everything they said and spilling stale tea about what she heard Duffy and Jackie say about everybody, she looked and sounded stupid. If Brooke felt so strongly that Jackie didnt show her sympathy, she had more than enough time to express that to Jackie before the reunion but instead she waited until the reunion to try to put Jackie on blast. Lots of times during tragedy, there is someone assigned to take messages on another’s behalf because grief is overwhelming. If Brooke didnt get her messages that wasnt Jackie’s fault. Her whole outburst seemed like she had been practicing for the reunion. She should just appreciate however and whenever Jackie reached out and NOT how/when she wanted Jackie to do it. That outburst was over the top and unnecessary. I think Jackie handled it well not to buy into it.

Let me say this, If you are a true friend as Jackie would always claim she is to everyone, you would have tried to go see your friend to console her even for a min or continue to call. Not sure if it were a funeral or memorial, was Jackie in attendance? Itās many ways around this touch heartfelt moment. A friend is a friend and Iām very adamant about that and support. People are quick to make it about them without realizing the bigger picture. Brooke is hurt regardless stop arguing and make it better. My condolences to Brooke regarding her daughter. With that being said, that platform was not appropriate to hash out such a sensitive topic. I do feel Brooke is misplacing blame onto Jackie. It appeared anything Jackie said was not good enough. All the other āfriendsā were not helpful as they are clickish. Brandi arguing over nothing and Brookes veins popping out her neck. Jackie getting agitated for not saying the things correctly. Hot mess.
This show does absolutely nothing to show our young black girls how to have real Sisterhood! Itās tacky and you all are too old to be acting this way. I donāt think itās time for the show to end , I think we need more mature women on the show. Brooke was grieving so she was hurt no matter what. You canāt tell me how I am to feel and offer you comfort in a time of need thatās crazy. So she never really liked Jackie from the start of the season and was always behind Jackieās back talking about her and laughing at her. Jackie is the best one on the show other than Malaysia and she left the show.
