Jennifer and Evelyn are reconnecting.
Evelyn invites Jennifer and Brooke over to gossip about everything that’s been going on in the group. Brooke is still upset that Brittany threw a drink in her face. And Jennifer doesn’t understand why Clayanna was so worked up with her recently. Jennifer alleges she heard Clayanna was the “side chick” anyway.
They switch gears and discuss Evelyn’s engagement. While she really cares about LaVon, she can’t ignore the anxiety she has about getting married again. She has some hard choices to make.
In a green screen interview, Jennifer says it feels good to have these kinds of personal conversations with Evelyn again.
Jackie and Brooke make progress.
Meanwhile, Clayanna tells Jac’Eil that she didn’t like that Jennifer questioned where she came from. But she’s hoping they can have a more productive conversation when they meet up alone soon.
Jac’Eil catches up with Brittany after her big blowup with Brooke. Brittany thinks things went left because Brooke stood up at the table while they were exchanging words. Jac’Eil tells Brittany they were both wrong. While Brooke was wrong to stand up, Brittany was also wrong to throw the drink.
She later spends some time with her fiancée Natasha. They are looking forward to the party Jac’Eil planned for her and the team but they hope all the drama in the group won’t dampen things.
Jackie goes to Brooke’s place and she is gifted a program that was given out during Kayla’s funeral. It’s a touching moment for Jackie. She hugs Brooke as well as apologizes for not being there during such a dark time. Brooke acknowledges her temper is short as of late because she’s grieving. So when it comes to Brittany, Brooke is not ready to let it go.
Clayanna pushes Jennifer.
Jennifer and Clayanna’s sit-down doesn’t go well at all. Clayanna doesn’t believe that Jennifer wasn’t trying to be shady when she asked who Clayanna already knew in the group. They start arguing about who’s more relevant due to their past with NBA players. And Jennifer decides she’s done after Clayanna pushes her before production intervenes. She later tells Jac’Eil she will have to skip the party if Clayanna will be there.
Evelyn tells La’Von she still has anxiety about getting married again. She experienced the same thing with Carl, so she knows the issue is her failed marriage. He tells her they can slow things down to make her feel comfortable. But long term, he doesn’t want to be with her if marriage is completely off the table.
It’s the day of Jac’Eil’s party for Natasha. Clayanna was not invited to keep the peace. Brittany also doesn’t attend because she had a club booking. While everyone is enjoying hanging out with Jennifer and Christian, Vanessa expresses she has doubts about the legitimacy of Christian in a green screen interview.

I had to roll when Clayanna moved Jennifer out of the way…that wasn’t close to a push at all 🙄.
I get Evelyn shying away from marriage but some if not all is her fault because she really didn’t know her suitors. I don’t think she was clout chasing but she wanted to be equal to the other ladies.
Jennifer straight disrespected Clayanna. It was how she enquired about who she was. Let’s be clear…Jenn ain’t no basketball wife…she was a football wife. So how did she get on the show? After her divorce she was on the hunt for a man with coins. Sooo for her to check someone else’s resume was too much! Clayanna shoulda reached up and smacked her.

Clayanna acts like a hood rat. I may not care for Jennifer, but I don’t care for black women who insist on being stereotypes on reality tv because they don’t have the emotional intelligence to process a conversation or conflict like an adult. She can go.
