The icing out of Quad Webb and Dr. Jackie Walters’ past comments have set social media ablaze.
“Married to Medicine” has been a hot topic on social media for the last couple of days for two major reasons: the icing out of Quad Webb and past controversial comments made by Dr. Jackie Walters resurfacing online.
Quad’s situation has fans accusing the OGs of bullying. However, Toya Bush-Harris said this is not the case. She feels Quad hasn’t held herself accountable for linking Toya and Dr. Eugene Harris to Anila Sajja’s being broken into. As for Dr. Heavenly Kimes and the others, they said Quad needs some work in the friend department. They accused Quad of only coming around when it was time to film the show.
Jackie has been receiving backlash because old comments from 2020 have resurfaced in light of her recent sitdown with Vice President Kamala Harris. As we reported, Jackie and the VP discussed the high maternal mortality rate for Black women. Critics of Jackie’s comments feel as if her attitude may be one of the reasons the death rate is so high.
During the 2020 talk with Heavenly, Jackie said that Black women can be “a bit more dramatic” and not taken seriously because they “cried wolf the entire pregnancy.”
Dr. Jackie Walters released a statement.
The comments have angered a lot of viewers. However, Jackie released a statement claiming her words had been taken out of context. She wrote, “Recently, a clip from a nearly 2-hour video was taken out of context to make it appear that l, somehow, take lightly, what I have advocated for concerning the devastating problem facing the Black maternal health crisis. It has been my life’s work to highlight and attempt to rectify the issues that devastatingly impact Black maternal mothers versus our counterparts.”
She continued, “As a physician, I educate my patients every day to be their own best health advocate. As we continue to face medical mistreatment and gaslighting, my intention with the broader conversation was to ensure patients enter their pregnancies armed with information and tools to effectively communicate their needs with their doctors to ensure a positive outcome.”
Jackie ended the statement by saying she chose her profession to help Black women, “The reason I became an OBGYN is because growing up I saw such a lack of diversity amongst medical professionals, and was determined to be part of the change. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, I will continue to fight for the lives of Black mothers and babies.”

Mariah Huq shared her thoughts on the latest controversies.
Interestingly enough, Mariah Huq addressed Quad’s status and Jackie’s controversy during a recent interview with All About The Tea.
When it comes to Jackie, Mariah said she told people about Jackie years ago. However, no one cared because they put Jackie on a pedestal. And that is the issue with the cast. But Jackie “showed her slip” a long time ago.
She disagrees with the way Quad is being treated.
“I see a lot of the same old pettiness. To me it’s almost as if there is an unwritten rule or script that says you have to isolate, put someone on island, isolate, bully, invite and un-invite like we’ve seen that. We’ve seen that 10 seasons ago with me so I hate that part of it. I don’t think you have to isolate and be mean and bully people. You can read the girls, you can have an opinion. But there’s no need to minimize somebody to that level.”
She continued, “I think they feel like they’re the core group. You keep hearing this, ‘core and the originals,” like there’s supposed to be a sense of loyalty or entitlement to be there. And I just find that awfully ironic when they were cast on the show themselves and can always be cast off. So I just find it awfully ironic that they’re all feeding off each other. I think that they’re doing that, all of the originals, because they’re nervous, and if they don’t stick together or pretend to, then it kind of defies the whole concept of an ensemble cast.”
Quad Webb is receiving the Mariah Huq treatment?
Mariah believes Quad is being treated the same way she was.
“That’s why they’re saying stuff to Quad like, ‘you’ve been iced out, you’re not a part of the group. You don’t want to be here.’ And I’m not saying she does, I don’t know. But I know that is a part of the language and the narrative…those were the same things they said to me. So I just know that is a script that they try to regurgitate among each other.”
She also feels like the others “created the monster” that is Quad. So it’s fake for them to have a problem with how she moves now. Regardless, Quad should have paid closer attention.
“You gotta be careful how you treat people and I’m not gon even say karma or anything. I just think you have to be careful how you treat people and what you go along with because again, what people would do to others, in due time they will do to you.”

I’m Team Mariah always! I think her and Quad made a huge mistake letting the others divide them because it only made them weak and easier to take out one by one! And Jackie really acts like she thinks she’s a god. So disturbing!

To each his own but after publicly accusing Mariah of be a crachead and when the drug test results came back clean she doubled down on seeing Mariah use coke??? Quad wouldn’t even be a part of my vocabulary. All of these women are fake as hell including Mariah. This will be my last season watching.
Mariah sticking up for Quad is not going to change how Quad operates towards her or anyone. Quad has said she doesn’t care about the others but she wants that check. She is not going to change, but wants to be the victim at all times, she sees no fault in her actions. Dr. Jackie has always been a uncover mean girl. Simone and Heavenly have always been the ones voice out loud what Jackie said off camera. Jackie is a rock thrower who hides her hands.

No one took her dumb a-s comments out of context. Jackie has always had that high and mighty stank a-s attitude so why would anyone expect her to be an empathetic and understanding doctor? That requires humility, something Jackie has never had. Jackie is one of those people who only became a doctor for the money. That is why most of her clients are reality stars and celebrities. Mariah was right about a lot of the sh-t she said about these people.
