Mendeeces Harris and Yandy Smith set the record straight.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Mendeecees Harris was a hot topic during the recent season. Kirk Frost’s child’s mother, Jasmine Washington, clashed with Yandy Smith. Yandy felt like Jasmine didn’t appreciate Rasheeda enough as a stepmother to her son. Jasmine was offended. In response, she called out Mendeecees in a green screen interview. She alleged that Mendeecees had been cheating on Yandy with multiple women in Atlanta. Jasmine also emphasized that Mendeecees visited her strip club. Regardless, Mendeecees insisted that he was there for the drinks. He also denied that there was any truth to the cheating rumors. At the height of the drama, security had to keep Yandy from putting her hands on Jasmine’s friend when Jasmine attempted to confront the couple.

It’s safe to say that the cheating accusations have made some LHHATL fans more critical of the content Mendeecees posts to social media. Days ago, fans noticed that Mendeecees posted a video of a woman twerking once she noticed someone was recording her. The video amassed a lot of views on Mendeecees’ Snapchat page.

An Instagram user brought this to Yandy’s attention in the comment section. The person wrote, “Ummmm Yandy, why is Mercedes posting videos of a cheeked up lady on Snapchat? @yandysmith”

Yandy responded, “Cuz that’s how we pay our mortgage and car notes. Snap pays well. Please go look at his snap 32 more times ❤️❤️❤️❤️ lol ain’t that.”

Mendeecees and Yandy also addressed the video on live as well. Mendeecees said, “You know what’s funny about the video? So people secretly record us every day, right? And we act like we don’t know but we know. So I seen a video where somebody looked like they were sneaky recording somebody. And when she caught him, she just started dancing and twerking. I just thought it was super funny.”

He continued, “So I knew it was gonna get views. But I didn’t know people thought it was me. It’s not me. That’s not me.”

Yandy pointed out that it’s likely just bad timing, “But babe, what I think it is…it’s just probably bad timing. Even though you post stuff like that all the time, the videos that go viral for him are seeing girls dancing at clubs, anything super funny and ridiculous. Stuff that goes viral for me is usually like the kid stuff. That stuff goes crazy. But for him, it gotta be girls. So he posts that kind of stuff all the time. But because of the timing and you’re the most hated, sorry babe, from that episode…”

As for Mendeecees, he wants his followers to understand his real life is drama-free.

“Internet gangsters, please. I don’t want no problems. Leave me alone. My life in real life is peaceful.”
