Rihanna has went from idolizing some of the biggest divas in music to quickly becoming one herself. It’s no question Rihanna has risen to become one of today’s biggest pop stars in an industry where it’s becoming harder and harder for artists to even go platinum, but Rihanna isn’t just cranking out platinum records, she’s also racking up on the number one singles like it’s easy. We’re sure most people didn’t imagine Rihanna would give Madonna a run for her money when it comes to who has the most number one singles when she was just a young girl singing to the DJ in “Pon De Replay.” But Rihanna is now an international superstar and her star power is so serious that she can sell out MAC Lipstick in three hours.

Rihanna’s numbers just aren’t huge when it comes to number one singles and selling out cosmetic lines, but she’s also breaking records when it comes to the power of social media (when she’s not Twitter beefing with Karrueche of course). While it’s impressive that the singer has amassed over 31 million followers on Twitter, the singer is going down in the 2014 edition of the Guinness World Records for being the person with the most Facebook likes. The publication writes:

R ‘n’ B sensation Rihanna took fans on a ‘detour’ from 8 Mile Road, dethroning the previous social media king, Detroit rapper Eminem, and taking the title of “Most “Liked” Person on Facebook” with 70,738,549 “Likes” on May 16, 2013 (her current count stands at 74,769,237).

If that’s not a big enough accomplishment, Rihanna was also crowned for amassing the most views on YouTube ever for a recording artist. She has pulled in a whopping 4 billion views so far. She decided to write a little cocky caption about her latest YouTube achievement on her Instagram account. She writes:

Your fave is basic!! #VEVOEmpress

Congrats to Rihanna.

    1. Beyonce was breaking records while your fave was still on an island wishing she could be the Queen. Pay homage peasant.

    2. Why is Beyonce always on your mind? For Rihanna to be soooo successful, you, Rih and the rest of the navy sure do think so much about her. LOL.

        1. Beyonce has it all. A husband, a kid, and a multimillion dollar empire. She doesn’t even need a manger anymore because she can manage herself. She got a multimillion dollar endorsement with Pepsi just because and sold out on her world tour with no new album out. Meanwhile, your fave is still checking for Karrueche on Twitter and no man is checking for her because she acts like a bird. She has all that success and she’s still miserable. FAIL.

    3. You silly fool y’all bragging about guinness world records who have given a person an award for longest nails. Holla at me when your fave catches up to Bey’s 17 grammys or Bey’s bank account loser.

      1. Thank you. They get excited by the smallest ish. YouTube videos? Facebook likes? Child please. That does not pay the bills.

      1. Ugh actually they did a study and concluded that Rihanna has a lot of paid for followers on Twitter and Facebook. Nicki Minaj too. It’s all smoke in mirrors. Do your research please.

  1. “Your fave is basic!!” >>> Rihanna, we tell your fans that every single day and you don’t let a day pass without you showing the world we’re not lying. Thank you.

  2. Congrats I guess. But I think she should worry more about developing her questionable talent then being popular on Facebook and YouTube.

  3. She always talks reckless in her little captions like all this can’t fade away as fickle as the music business is.

  4. She’s lucky she came up in an era when people have very low standards. If she didn’t, she would still be in Barbados. She’s so cocky like she made it off her talent. Girl goodbye.

  5. I’m always happy to see black women doing it big but Rihanna’s nasty attitude is a huge turn off for me. If she was a normal person, her own fans wouldn’t even like her. People only think it’s cute because she’s famous.

  6. LOL! You guys are so bitter it’s sad! You might as well learn to love Rihanna because she’s ain’t going nowhere. And tell Beyonce’s old a-s to BOW DOWN!

        1. I honestly just died @ hot cheetos! Rihanna fans eating hot cheetos and smoking weed and Bey fans are working and getting their education!

    1. If you call Bey old that definitely makes Rihanna look bad because Beyonce looks 10x better then Rihanna and she is younger. You and your big foreheaded fave will never be on Bey’s level . Get your life boo because y’all can have that off key singing and simple crotch grabs.

    2. rihanna stans (it’s not worth capitalizing her name) are cheering over an “award” that has nothing to do with talent? She’s on her 8th album and her 1st number 1 album though? What exactly are they cheering for? The fact that she can get undressed in 3.5 seconds? Congrats I guess…Plus I think she is paying for likes. I have almost 1300 facebook friends yet only 73 “like” rihanna…then again I don’t accept friend requests from children under 18…

  7. If so many of yall hate her why waste time commentin about her. Obvoiusly someone thinks she has talent. If u don’t like her stop d#@k ridin’ n get off on the ones you do like. To keep puttn people down that you don’t know has no affect on your life is what’s childish n stupid…. Ijs..

    1. If you like her so much stop wasting time attempting to insult us and go support your “fave”. It took her 8 albums to get a #1. Sounds like her fans have a little more to learn about what it really means to support someone. Typing comments doesn’t keep her famous boo…

    1. You’re right, he does. Guiness is wrong, either that or enough people can’t stand Rihanna and went to go support him so that she could come in 2nd. Either way the story is now false.
