Rihanna and Matt Kemp back on? Rihanna and Chris Brown have been rumored to be dating again, since ending their teenage love affair after Chris Brown tragically assaulted her in 2009. However, the bliss of the rekindled romance was pretty short lived, since Chris was spotted with Karrueche allegedly several times since breaking up with her publicly over his “friendship” with Rihanna. Rihanna herself wasn’t too happy about this, and she even took to her Twitter to shade him about it a few times too. Regardless, the singer has not been able to completely give up on her love for Brown. Meanwhile, it does appear that the love triangle between Rihanna, Chris, and Karrueche is anything but over.
Well, we heard some interesting gossip about Rihanna and Chris a few days ago. Apparently, while Rihanna and Chris are spending lots of time together, Rihanna is quite annoyed that Karrueche is not completely out the picture. And apparently, Rihanna feels like the best way to guard her heart is to keep her options open.
I guess the gossip was true because according to new reports, she’s keeping her options open with Matt Kemp, her ex beau and a pretty attractive professional baseball player who currently plays with the LA Dodgers.
If the latest gossip bears any truth, Rihanna has tired of hearing about Chris’ constant communication with Karrueche on the blogs, so she’s decided to let Matt Kemp back into her life. They say it’s most likely just a ploy to make Chris jealous, but hey, Rihanna did say she hasn’t been on a date in two years. Maybe she just wanted to scratch her dating itch.
Regardless, insiders told The Sun that two went out on a date recently:
Just a few days after old flame CHRIS BROWN dumped girlfriend KARRUECHE TRAN to be with Rihanna, the Bajan singer is back in contact with another of her exes.
Baseball player MATT KEMP called to congratulate her on the success of her latest single, Diamonds, and they arranged to meet. The pair, who dated for a year until late 2010, then caught up over drinks in LA.
A source said: “Rihanna and Matt always got on well, he was a rock for her after all the problems with Chris.
“Although her eye is on Chris, she’s learned from past mistakes and isn’t going to store all her eggs in one basket.
“This is keeping Chris on his toes.”
