Rihanna’s career continues to flourish, despite her rather dramatic love affair with former boyfriend Chris Brown. For the last few weeks, it has been speculated that the couple with the violent past were all but back together, especially since Chris Brown has officially called it quits with his girlfriend of two years, Karrueche Tran. Although Chris proclaimed his love for both women in a rather attention seeking kind of video, Rihanna is hoping the two can pick up where they left off after their dramatic end in 2009, just days after Chris Brown assaulted her.

As to be expected, there are a lot of people who aren’t too thrilled to hear that the superstar singer wants to get back with the man who publicly humiliated her, and it’s even been said that some of her friends and even her mentor Jay-Z aren’t too sure that Chris has even changed enough that this would even work out. Regardless, Rihanna still thinks Chris is the love of her life and she seems pretty confident that they are meant to be together.

While it has not been confirmed that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together (there are rumors that Karrueche still lives in Chris’ condo), sources tell the Hollywood Life the couple will announce they are back on after Rihanna’s upcoming album Unapologetic debuts.

In the upcoming November issue of Vogue, Rihanna actually speaks on her love life and her “friendship” with Chris Brown.

When it comes to Brown, Rihanna tends to believe that people just aren’t able to see all the progress she and Chris have made in their relationship:

“The world hasn’t let go. They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship, because they don’t see anything. But they’re not on the inside. They can’t see what I see, unless they’re sitting in my point of view. I guess I’ll learn to accept that.”

Rihanna also reveals that she hasn’t been on a real date in two years. She thinks it’s because most men are too intimated to ask her out:

“No one asks. Trust me on that. I’m waiting for the man who’s ballsy enough to deal with me. I’m going to wait, though. You always find the wrong sh-t when you go looking.”

And when it comes to her love life, the singer claims that she had nothing to do with her exes Chris Brown and Drake getting into it at a club earlier this year:

“I wasn’t there. It had nothing to do with me.”

  1. This is why people keep saying that all Rihanna had to do to get over Chris was get in a relationship with a more mature guy. She hasn’t ever had anything healthy, so she still thinks Chris is the best thing since sliced bread. Rihanna doesn’t need to go back to Chris, she needs to date. She just has to see first hand that it’s better out there.

  2. There’s really nothing Rihanna can say to make herself look less naive about Chris. He whooped her a– and she went back. There’s no way to spin that Rihanna.

  3. Rihanna we don’t see the progress you see because we’re not delusional. But what we did see though is that Chris still has anger issues. That’s evident from his many Twitter rants, the time he threw a chair out the window at Good Morning America, his whole fight with Drake, and the numerous times he’s called you a slut in his songs. But hey, you think you got a prize. So by all means, do you.

  4. LOL what progress Rih? He cheated on his girl to sleep with you and still will two piece you if he gets angry enough. Don’t be naive girl!

  5. LOL it’s so sad she really think she has something so special, yet she sounds like every other victim who’s gone back to their abuser.

  6. I wish she would just shut up. Progress and Chris Brown should not be in the same sentence. The way he went about this shows he still immature and a pretty terrible person. Wow. Rihanna you have such a prize.

  7. I like Rihanna. But she’s going to have to stop trying to explain herself with this whole Chris Brown thing. It only makes her look worse. Stop talking about it and just make your music.

  8. Some chicks like violent relationships. Rihanna is obviously one of them. She could have dated while her and Chris were not together, but she didn’t really do that because the other dudes weren’t willing to give her that volatile relationship she’s used to. And that’s real talk.

  9. I don’t think guys are intimidated by Rihanna. I just think her rep is so bad that they don’t really want to be with her on a serious level. People got mad when Waka said she was a tramp, but that’s how a lot of guys in the industry see her. I’m not shocked that people weren’t asking her out on dates.

  10. So they’re going to wait to her album comes out to go public? CHILE BYE. I won’t spend another dime on Rih Rih. I hate how they are using this as a publicity stunt.

  11. If she’s so “unapologetic” about everything, then why wait to go public Rih? i thought she was about that thug life. What is she scared of?

  12. I was trying to root for Rihanna and Chris but now I’m over it. I do not like how they did it this time. The way they did Karrueche was selfish and tacky, and if Chris would do that to the girl who had his back when the world hated him and Rihanna kept throwing him under a bus, he is obviously still a damn dog. F-ck Chrihanna. Karma is a b-tch too!
