Chris Brown’s first passion might be music, but that doesn’t mean the singer doesn’t have his eye on other goals and professional achievements. It’s been a great year for Chris business wise, as the singer has launched several major projects just this year alone. Chris has his own fashion line, Black Pyramid Clothing, which has already been a success with his dedicated fan base. Then the singer announced that he also has his own music labe Chris Brown Entertainment (CBE), with several artists already signed up and being positioned to break into the music industry. And just recently, the singer’s team announced the launch of his non profit organization, Symphonic Love, which is an organization that promotes the artistic express of the youth while encouraging community service. The organization has already secured a hefty amount of grants and is set to make huge waves in communities nation wide.

Now Chris Brown can add another major achievement to his resume. The singer has landed a pretty impressive modeling contract. The other day it was confirmed that Chris has been signed to Wilhelmina International in its artist management division. This is a huge deal for Chris as it means that he is now set to do major fashion and beauty endorsements, as well as licensing products.

Taylor Hendrich, director of Wilhelmina Men, tells Women Wear Daily:

“Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”

As to be expected, Chris is excited about the new opportunity. He says:

“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career.”

Other celebrities represented by Wilhelmina include Fergie, Keri Hilson, and Estelle

Congrats to Chris.

  1. Well he better get those looks of his back up. He’s been looking crackish and real dirty for the last few months. Now he has inspiration to actually care how he looks again.

  2. He probably shouldn’t have gotten all those tattoos if he was trying to be a model. Too many tats makes a person look dirty to me. Congrats tho.

  3. I’m kind of shocked they signed him. He just has so many damn tattoos that it might be distracting to his spreads.

  4. Dope. Didn’t Amber Rose used to be signed to them too? I haven’t heard much else about that since they announced the deal.

  5. Make that money. He can’t put all his eggs in once basket anyway. Especially as fickle as the music industry can be.

  6. I wonder if this will be a waste of a contract. It happens all the time. For example, when’s the last time we saw Keri Hilson be a spokesperson for a major brand? Estelle? Ok.
