Kim Kardashian hasn’t established her brand by being a private person. In fact, it would be her “adult tape” with Ray J. that would put her on the map and set her on the path to reality television stardom. Unlike her former “BFF” Paris Hilton, Kim has managed to keep herself relevant, and she’s achieved this by being extremely open about her private life, and mainly, her romantic relationships. Her 72 day long marriage to Kris Humphries might have landed a few blows to her career, but now the reality star is dating and pregnant by rapper Kanye West.
Many of the reality star’s critics believe Kim’s pregnancy is another attempt for her to stay relevant and in the headlines, but Kim claims she plans to keep her new private life…private. It’s already been speculated that she will most likely put her pregnancy on TV, but Kim’s camp denies the allegations and says she doesn’t want to put the baby on any of her reality shows.
Kim credits her new desire to be private to her beau Kanye West. In an interview with DuJour Magazine, she says:
“My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”
It sounds like there may be some truth to the rumors that suggest Kanye has put his foot down with Kim and her family, and he’s not backing down from keeping their kid away from reality television. Can’t say we blame him one bit considering how detrimental reality television has been to most families.

LOL girl bye. If Kim ever became private, she wouldn’t be famous anymore. Her private life is what got here “here.” I can’t wait until she actually does get private and becomes irrelevant. Kanye too. His music hasn’t been good enough to justify how arrogant he is in a long time.

Kim would go crazy if the cameras ever went away. She will never be private. Even the way they announced the pregnancy was attention whoring at its best.

He sure is! But they will NEVER be Jay & Bey so he can stop! Kanye wants Kim to be “private” so he can be the one to spill all the tea on their relationship! She’s taking his “shine” and he don’t like it!
