Gucci Mane apologizes for Twitter rant and reveals addiction to lean? Gucci Mane’s infamous Twitter rant became the huge talk of the social media network after the rapper took some brutal swipes at several artists in the industry. Out of the people Gucci slammed during his Twitter rant, Nicki Minaj was one of his biggest targets as Gucci claimed he slept with Nicki and implied that she got around. Not only did Nicki laugh off Gucci’s claims, Waka Flocka Flame took it upon himself to officially shut down Gucci’s allegations of Nicki and says he thinks Gucci has completely lost it with all the reckless things he has been saying about people.

Just days after Gucci Mane caused a huge stir with his rant, he found himself in even more trouble outside of the Twittersphere. Gucci Mane was arrested for possessing a hand gun and a small amount of m*rijuana in addition to threatening police officers. And due to the bizarre behavior the rapper exhibited during the incident, Gucci was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

As for his strange Twitter rant, it was supposedly triggered by Gucci getting dropped from his record label but not everyone was sold on that idea as many people believe Gucci may be on drugs. After going on a brief hiatus from Twitter, Gucci Mane reactivated his account to offer a lengthy apology for the harsh comments he made about his peers and revealed that he is battling an addiction.

In multiple tweets, Gucci Mane says he is very ashamed of the way he behaved and admitted to having a serious problem which he says he has been dealing with for over 10 years. Gucci also says he is still currently incarcerated but plans to go to rehab for his addiction to lean very soon. Gucci also made it a point to specifically extend direct apologies to Drake, Birdman and Rick Ross (Read from bottom to top):
