Michael B. Jordan had a big year, as his role in “Fruitvale Station” was critically acclaimed, and some are even thinking the film (based on the tragic Oscar Grant story) itself could land some Oscar nominations. Jordan’s future in Hollywood is very bright, but we knew it was something special about him back when he was Wallace on “The Wire.” So we’re not shocked many believe he’s posed to become a leading young black actor in the next couple of years.

The actor made this year’s GQ Men of the Year issue, and the publication named him the 2013 Breakout of the Year. He also did a rather dope spread too. Check out some of the photos below (Photo Credit: Peggy Sirota):

In related news, Jordan may end up nabbing the role as Human Torch in the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot film, but he refused to confirm that to MTV with a huge smile recently. We sure do hope he gets the role though. He’s a great actor.

  1. Ok, so…. For some reason, I feel like he’s mine. Ever since Fruitvale Station, umph… Smh. Well deserved. Let me just leave it at that and walk out this post before I hand myself some aquafina.

  2. LOL! Y’all are hilarious. I agree, he is very handsome and extremely talented. I’m glad he’s getting posts on here. It’s time to start back giving talented people shine. Maybe if we get back to that, Kim and Kanye will go away.

  3. I’m laughing at some of these comments. I’m happy for his success. He’s very underrated and overlooked and he shouldn’t be.
