J. Cole engaged? The young rapper had a big year musically as he released his latest and now critically acclaimed album “Born Sinner” earlier this year, and he was able to outsell Kanye West’s “Yeezus” album with less promotion and a smaller label marketing budget. But now it appears that it’s also been a big year for his personal life too.
According to MTV News, J. Cole may have just gotten engaged to his college sweetheart Melissa Hehol. The couple has reportedly been dating since Cole’s sophomore year at St. John’s University in Queens.
Now there hasn’t been a confirmation or denial from the rapper’s camp just yet, so we have to classify this as merely just gossip for now. Either way, it’s still great to see that a successful rapper is dating someone he met in college. That in itself is rare and pretty dope.
