Kanye West apparently has a New Year’s Resolution on deck that he felt compelled to share with his fans at his recent performance in Toronto.

The rapper told his fans during the show on Monday that he’s taking a break from controversial rants:

“This might be the last time y’all hear me talk sh*t for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and sh*t if you wanna hear some realness!

“I’m not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light.

“I’ll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win.'”

Kanye then tells his fans as far as his “Yeezus” tour is concerned, he’s done with talking negative about people and corporations:

“So I’m letting you all now that this is the last Yeezus show, and this is the last time you’ll ever hear me say negative about anyone.”

Considering that magazine covers featuring the Kardashians aren’t selling well these days (and Kim and Kanye’s popularity has tanked), not to mention Kanye himself has been struggling to sell concert tickets and even the album itself, perhaps a break from ranting is best.

  1. Sounds like Kanye and Kim are in major damage control mode. They know their images are in trouble and Kris Jenner told them to get it together quick. Good luck with that Kimye.

  2. Kris Jenner is trying to save that bank account. She ain’t slick. She can have Kim doing all the staged charity work she wants and Kanye can stop ranting…it won’t change how disliked they are by the public. It’s a little too late to be fixing images.

  3. Then he’s really not about to be selling concert tickets because his rants are why most people even go to the shows. LOL.

    1. Yeah, she basically removed all of her Armenian features. Kim has to be one of the most vain yet insecure people to ever walk the earth.

  4. Sigh…whatever. I doubt he can even make it a full month without complaining about something shallow like his “terrible” multimillion dollar Nike deal.

  5. This sounds like damage control. I guess the K’s are worried their time in the spotlight is running out. They have had too much bad press just this year alone and Kanye isn’t helping things. Too bad he can’t notice that they don’t see him as anything more than a means to stay relevant. They will chew him up and spit him out like they did the others.
