As we reported recently, Oklahoma City Thunder player Kevin Durant got engaged to WNBA player Monica Wright several months ago, but whispers surrounding the couple’s romance are now suggesting that the engagement may be on the rocks.
Blogger Jocks and Stiletto Jill even obtained screenshots of recent Instagram postings that suggest Kevin and Monica’s relationship could possibly have hit a sour patch.

Monica has also been posting cryptic Instagram posts as of late too making some think her relationship with Durant may be in trouble:
Neither Monica nor Kevin have posted about each other for months (which is odd for them), and they didn’t even spend New Year’s or Christmas together.
We really hope these Instagram postings don’t mean these two are on the rocks, considering we loved these two together and they were going so strong that Kevin’s own friends worked overtime to keep the groupies away.
I hate to hear this. I do hope they work it out because she seems like she’s a good woman and KD seems like he’s a good guy. But he shouldn’t get married if he’s not ready. No one should.
I loved these two together. I think they will work it out. Monica seems to really be going through a lot of things and stress can ruin a relationship. I wish them the best.
I just hope KD doesn’t pull a D Wade. Ugh!

I knew these two wouldn’t last because they seemed to get engaged way too fast. Everybody kept talking about them being the perfect love & basketball couple. With two people who are constantly on the road have to have a solid foundation if not trouble. I hope KD aint dwading out here in these streets.

Kevin is still a professional athlete at the end of the day. He probably gave in to the groupies and lost a good girl like most of them do. Not every woman is willing to be a doormat like Gabby just to say they have a baller.
Dang, I was really hoping they would make it. Man I hope KD didn’t mess up a good thing. He better realize that if he wasn’t in the NBA Groupies wouldnt give him the time or day. She was down for him not his status. He needs to fix it and treasure her and show her that he treasures her!
Provided that it’s just common relationship problems putting a strain on them, I hope they work it out. They were an attractive couple that seemed to support each other. I wish them well
