R&B singer Keyshia Cole recently confirmed to the Breakfast Club that she’s currently separated from Daniel Boobie Gibson, but her recent interview with V-103 went so bad that Keyshia has sworn off giving interviews.
Keyshia recently called into Atlanta radio station V-1-03 to chat it up with Ryan Cameron and Wanda Smith, but things went left after Wanda asked Keyshia if things didn’t work out because she wasn’t “wifey material” considering she may have been too busy to make a marriage work:
“You know what? Y’all really f**kin’ with my sh** right now. I got some other sh** going on. What y’all wanna talk about? Tell me now.”
When Wanda attempted to calm down the situation by using R&B singer Monica needing to take a little break from music once she got married as an example, Keyshia snapped:
“So you trying to insinuate that I was one dimensioned?
“Listen! Monica [Brown] I’m sure is doing her thing. This isn’t ain’t no first rodeo for Monica. She’s been through the ringer, this, that and the other. But at the end of the day, we can handle all that! It’s a point of a man taking care of his business. Straight up on that. We good! We handle our sh**. We do what we do! Period! I don’t know what to tell you about that.”
Keyshia then took to Twitter to make her anger known and she tweeted the following:
“I’m done wit interviews for a minute! That interview with V103 left a very bad taste. And to be honest, I don’t deserve that kinda treatment.”
“Y’all can kiss my a**! With that phony sh**.”
“Y’all should be ashamed of ya selves! Not cool. Never another interview from me!”
“Man. Y’all don’t even have to play my record. I’m cool wit that!”
“Man. It’s good tho. All love. God Bless. I’m gonna keep my head high and keep puttin one foot in front of the other! #BelieveTht Neva again tho.”

Honestly, I don’t blame Keyshia for getting upset. The way Wanda worded that question was offensive. Especially considering Keyshia and Boobie are still going through their separation. My only thing is Keyshia could have just promptly ended the call instead of going off. But I understand her anger here.
Wifey material? Wow. Yeah, that was just too much.
So the failed marriage is all Keyshia’s fault? Sit the hell down Wanda.

I heard it yesterday morning and I could only shake my head. I get what Wanda was trying to say, but the way she worded it would have made me mad too because she’s insinuating that it’s Keyshia’s fault that things didn’t work out. Clearly it takes two to mess up a marriage.
I’m Team Keyshia on this one. That was disrespectful as hell!

Was the question kind of messy? Yes! But I’m not giving Keyshia’s ratchet a-s a pass for handling like she hasn’t been in the business for for damn near 15 years. The chick has no damn class and not a hint of professionalism!
Nah…Keyshia had every right to go off. Wanda is always messy. I couldn’t stand her when I lived in ATL.
Wanda was out of line. But I think Keyshia should just stop talking about the marriage at this point. People are starting to be more interested in her personal life than her music, and that’s the beginning of the end for any artist.
