Joseline’s Special Delivery Recap: Joseline Has a Natural Birth + Makes Peace with Stevie J

Joseline is having contractions.

“This is some painful sh*t.” – Joseline

Things rewind back to five months earlier.

Joseline is eight months pregnant and she’s getting ready to throw a huge baby shower.

Joseline is going to take focus off her drama with Stevie J and put all her energy into planning her baby shower. She wants it to be over the top so it can send a message to Bonnie Bella that she can have whatever she wants out of life.

So far Joseline wants strippers there and a cake of herself delivering the baby.

Joseline confronts her little brother Kermit.

Turns out his girlfriend is currently six months pregnant, and he’s still in school and not really able to support his growing family financially.

With her ongoing drama with Stevie, Joseline can’t help but see the similarities in both men.

Since she took care of Kermit financially growing up, she’s determined to force him to grow up by not helping him out.

He tells her he’s going to continue going to school and get a good job to support his girlfriend and child.

Joseline gets good advice from her doula.

Joseline meets with her doula and her doula warns her that her plans to have a water birth may not happen. And if the plans change (as they can), she has to be calm and be ok with having the baby outside of her original plans.

Joseline gets a test baby.

Joseline’s doula gives her a test baby since she has never even held a baby before. It’s clear that Joseline isn’t going to have much success with the doll.

Nikki Baby wants to have “pregnant s*x” with Joseline.

Joseline is feeling self conscious and unsure of being intimate with Nikki because she’s so close to giving birth.

However, Nikki comes over and rubs her down with oil and they have their freaky moment in the bed.

Joseline’s mother Carmen comes to visit.

As she continues to struggle with the test baby doll, she asks her mother to stay for two weeks after the baby is born because she is concerned that adjusting to motherhood will be very stressful.

Her mother promises to make the trip and be there for her daughter and grandchild.

The baby shower is a success.

Joseline’s baby shower organizers were able to score great food, ballerinas, and even strippers.

A lot of familiar faces stop by from LHHATL, and Momma Dee gives Bonnie Bella a bedazzled crown. But Joseline breaks down in tears after Dawn gives an emotional speech about Joseline’s growth and “heart of gold.”

She also gets the cake she wanted and demands that Yung Joc eats the v*gina.

Joseline goes into labor.

Joseline gets contractions and she decides to go forward with having a water birth.

“…and honey I’m starting to regret this sh*t because this pain ain’t no joke” – Joseline

As the pain gets more severe, Joseline decided to get out of the water. She gets in the bed and gets support from her doula, Dawn and her sister.

She then decides to forgo the water birth and head to the hospital.

“I finally gave up so I could actually get ready and go to the hospital.” – Joseline

As she was getting dressed for the hospital, her doula comes in and tells her that she’s not going to the hospital and she’s not getting a epidural because she can handle this.

Joseline ends up having a natural childbirth and feels very empowered.

“There is nothing better to accomplish in the whole wide world than to be a mother.” – Joseline

Despite being really upset with Stevie, she calls him and invites him to the hopsital see their daughter for the first time.

“Every decision I make from now on is for my daughter’s best interest.” – Joseline

Joseline for now, doesn’t want to fight with Stevie in court. She tells him he can see his daughter whenever he wants but he must provide for her. Stevie agrees and for now, the on and off couple have peace.

  1. I loved seeing this side to Joseline. I could have done without that fake scene with Nikki though.

  2. I liked this. Her family being there for her and her conversation with her brother. Now I understand why she has trust issues and keeps her guard up. I think she will change some things about her overall now that she has a baby girl. The stripper thing is etched in her tho.

  3. This pregnancy and baby have made her so laid-back and cool! I hope that doesn’t change. I couldn’t stand her before.
