Invite Only Cabo Recap: Kamani Goes off on Emily + Larry Regrets Planning a Trip with Friends

Meet Larry.

Larry Sims has been a celebrity hair stylist for ten years, and he tells Gabrielle Union that he’s booked all his best friends to go on a lavish vacation with him to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

“When was the last time you had a real vacation?” – Gabrielle Union to Larry

“I absolutely need it.” – Larry to Gabrielle

Each best friend comes from a different point of his life, so he’s not sure how things will turn out.

Some of the people he’s bringing include Bianca a business developer. Agu, a model and personal trainer. Malaku, an event planner. Emily, a makeup artist.

Larry arrives to the mansion in Cabo first, and he’s already in love with the place. However, he’s a little concerned things could get messy since none of his friends have hung out with each other like that before.

“They all have really big personalities, so it’s going to be blast.” – Larry

Bianca arrives first.

Bianca and Larry are very close, and they do just about everything together. Bianca says that although it’s just platonic, she feels like they are perfect for each other.

Larry refers to her as babe, and it seems like what they have could be more than just a friendship.

Jermaine arrives next.

Jermaine is a brand consultant, and he’s known Larry since he was 16.

“Jermaine is my rock, he’s the person I run everything by.” – Larry

Seeing as they grew up in Chicago together and they have overcome struggle as friends, they are grateful for how far they have come.

Jermaine and Bianca greet each other with laughs and hugs.

Kamani pulls up.

Kamani is a celebrity makeup artist. She’s known Larry for ten years, and they met when they both danced for Missy Elliot.

Kamani says she needs the vacation being she’s a single mom who recently went through a divorce.

Bianca on the other hand does not look thrilled to see Kamani. Jermaine notes that Bianca has a nasty habit of being jealous of any other woman in Larry’s life.

Agu arrives.

Agu and Larry have known each other for four years. They met at a pool party and have been tight ever since. He’s a fitness buff and loves working out. He also doesn’t like to wear any clothes.

Malaku gets in next and walks in with a drink in hand.

He used to be in a boy band with Larry.

“We were going to be the male version to TLC, but it just didn’t work out.” – Malaku

Despite their group not working out, Malaku and Larry are still very close.

Emily is the last to arrive.

Emily is a makeup artist and she likes to pair up and work with Larry because she thinks they work great together.

She hitches a ride with Agu and she’s hoping he’s gay because she’s extremely attracted to him. She has a serious boyfriend and wants to be faithful.

When Emily arrives, some of Larry’s friends aren’t thrilled because they know Emily is a bit on the extreme side. Malaku recalls the time Emily got drunk and ripped a man’s shirt off at a dinner party.

“Emily is my Australian bombshell, crazy, unpredictable friend. But she brings it. She’s the life of the party all of the time” – Larry

Rooms are assigned.

Larry pairs Emily with Agu, Kamani and Bianca (Kamani is not thrilled about having to share a room and it annoys Bianca), and Malaku and Jermaine.

Dinner is awkward.

Everyone pitches in to cook dinner on the first night, and they are all in the mood for some Mexican. People catch on to the fact that Emily has no problem double dipping her fork into everything, which is unsanitary.

“What she doing? She think I’ma eat that?” – Jermaine

Larry on the other hand doesn’t seem fazed. He eats off the same fork to taste Emily’s guacamole.

Bianca and Larry get…close.

The group decides to take a dip in the pool after dinner, and they notice that Bianca and Larry get really close very quick. Larry invites Bianca to sit on his lap, and this makes everyone else give them the side eye.

“This is awkward.” – Jermaine

When asked if they have ever slept together, Larry nor Bianca say anything and just giggle.

Agu breaks the ice and gets naked and runs all over the house.

He also reveals that he wishes he could reduce the size of his p*nis. This piques Emily’s interest. It just adds on to her fears about sharing a room with him.

“I’m definitely moving rooms right now. I’m in f*cking trouble. This is really bad.” – Emily

Emily tries to convince Bianca to switch rooms with her. Bianca agrees and this doesn’t sit well with Larry.

“Emily is a wrecking ball and Kamani is a total diva. I can’t imagine them being in the same room together.” – Larry

Larry paired people off by which personalities he thought would work the best together, so he’s worried that Emily being in the room with Kamani could lead to problems.

Larry explains that the move could lead to drama but he decides to let Emily go forward with the move because he just wants to have a fun time in Cabo.

Bianca reveals her feelings for Larry.

In a confessional, Bianca confirms that she has romantic feelings for Larry but she hasn’t pursued anything because she feels he needs to be the one to do that.

Agu is feeling Kamani.

After Kamani gets dressed for a night out, Agu realizes he’s attracted to her. However, he isn’t ready for anything serious again at the moment.

The group goes out for a night out on the town.

They all go to a club and it doesn’t take long for Emily to end up swinging on a pole. Agu and Kamani appear to flirt all night with Kamani deciding to keep her “one good eye” on him during the trip.

Bianca and Larry continue to confuse everyone.

Not only are they dancing on each other all night, but they eventually start kissing.

“Larry never told me about Bianca. It’s almost like he’s living a double life.” – Kamani

Kamani and Malaku are confused about Larry’s flirtiness with Bianca because as Kamani puts it, she’s never seen Larry be so lovey dovey with anyone in public. She declares she will get to the bottom of it soon.

Jermaine is also shocked because he says Larry never told him he had those kind of feelings for Bianca.

Bianca says he’s the perfect man and she’s a little shocked he’s being so romantic with her in public.

However, Bianca gets upset when she sees Larry dancing with other girls. When asked about kissing on Bianca later by Jermaine, Larry seems to feel like it was building up to that point.

While discussing their time at the club, Emily opens her legs and has no panties on, making Kamani very uncomfortable and Agu somewhat impressed.

Emily’s constant coughing over the frozen pizzas the group eats after they return from clubbing doesn’t sit well with Kamani. She begins to question how Larry can be friends with a “train wreck.” She also questions if she can remain on a vacation with someone like Emily.

Bianca confronts Larry about dancing and being flirty with other women.

When Bianca questions why Larry was flirting and dancing with other women, he says he was just trying to have a good time with the locals. He now wonders if kissing Bianca was a mistake.

The gang goes out for dinner and has another situation with Emily.

Emily is annoying everyone because she’s double dipping the appetizers and coughing on the food. But she crosses the line when everyone realizes that she’s biting off her finger nails and spitting them out on the floor.

“There’s food on the table and you’re popping off your nails at the table.” – Kamani

Larry thinks Emily is great and his friends just need time to get to know her. However, they keep going in on Emily and trying to explain to her why she lacks class. However, Kamani seems to the one who is angry the most. She tells Emily that Larry is classy and could not have gotten as far as he has in his career behaving the way she does.

“This is exactly why I keep my friends separated.” – Larry

“Emily is like that alley cat that Larry felt really, really sorry for and decided to adopt and give her shelter.” – Kamani

Kamani gets fed up and leaves. Emily then leaves too since she feels like Kamani attacked her.
