Tasha is on the elevator pondering what Silver will say when she asks him to lie for her.
Meanwhile, Ghost and Angela discuss the situation and Ghost isn’t convinced Terry Silver will lie for Tasha. Angela says he possibly could because people do stupid things when they are in love.
When Tasha arrives to Silver’s place, she asks him if he will back her up now that the detectives are inching closer.
“You’re asking me to commit perjury? To lie on the stand? If I’m caught, I could lose my license and go to jail. You’re still protecting James. Why would I put myself at risk for him?” – Terry
Terry is convinced that Tasha is still in love with Ghost.
Tasha denies being in love with Ghost and Terry tells her that they need to go to the police and tell them everything.
This is when Tasha gets desperate and tells Terry that Tariq is the one who killed Ray Ray.
She explains that Terry lying will save Tariq.
But Terry thinks Tariq should just turn himself in because he won’t be charged with first degree murder. He believes they could try for juvenile delinquent status. Tasha is vehemently against this and says that Tariq is a good kid with a bright future and the system would destroy him as a young black man.
“I need you. Please.” – Tasha
“Alright.” – Terry
Back at Angela’s place, Ghost asks Angela how long she’s known that Tasha has been sleeping wth Terry. Angela says Tasha mentioned she was seeing a lawyer but she had no idea who it was.
She then asks if Ghost cares because of the case or because of Tasha.
“It’s not about Tasha. It’s about Tariq. If her relationship saves Tariq, then so be it. Doesn’t change me or Tasha, and certainly doesn’t change me and you.” – Ghost
Angela admits she’s afraid and she thought they were in the clear. Regardless, Ghost thanks Angela for being there. She admits her first priority was to save herself, then Tariq, Raina and Ghost.
She can’t believe that they ended up where they are and she feels the cleaner Ghost becomes, the dirtier she becomes. She’s now a criminal herself.
Ghost tells her that they need to see everything through and he will protect her.
They sleep together and so do Tasha and Terry.
Mak is discussing the case to Tameika, Saxe and Donovan.
He wants to prove Ghost killed Ray Ray and expand the RICO case.
Tameika says that Blanca is having the district attorney move forward with a grand jury hearing. They are also going to subpoena Terry as a witness to corroborate Tasha’s gun in the closet story.
Mak says it was convenient that Tasha reported her gun stolen after Raina and Ray Ray were murdered.
Donovan says that while it is possible that Tasha reported her gun missing to cover their tracks, they still have no proof they did anything.
Saxe agrees and says that they still can’t prove that Ghost is the head of a drug enterprise, which makes his nickname perfect.
“I want Angela’s head on the wall.” – Mak
Apparently Saxe feels the same way and says that picturing Angela’s face as she’s being indicted arouses him.
Tameika gives him the side eye. Donovan questions why Saxe wants to include Angela on the RICO case because he feels there is no proof that Angela is part of Ghost’s criminal organization.
But Saxe is convinced she is and feels Angela is why Ghost keeps getting away with his crimes.
Tameika says Saxe isn’t far fetched and they now have evidence that Angela has been using Daryl’s login to delete evidence.
She tells Donovan to keep an eye on Angela because they already have her for obstruction of justice. They need to see how deep this all goes.
Mak and Saxe are then told by Tameika to put more pressure on Teresi because he hasn’t given them anything significant on Ghost and Tommy.
Not too long after, Mak and Sxxe show up to Teresi’s house. He’s shook that people will see them waiting outside, so he opens the door and urges then to come in quickly.
Connie is on the couch, observing everything. Saxe speaks and she is not here for it.
“Hey, Mrs. Teresi. How you feeling?” – Saxe
“Go f*ck yourself.” – Connie
Mak then asks Teresi if Tommy has ever talked to him about Angela. Teresi says Tommy never brought her up and Saxe explains Angela may be trying to cover up a murder. They urge him to see if he can get Tommy to bring her up in conversation.
After they leave, Connie questions Teresi’s actions. She doesn’t think it makes sense for Teresi to snitch on the only family he will have left after she dies.
Connie then tells Teresi that she knows Tommy is his son and she has known about his affair for years. She just didn’t know there was a child until recently.
Teresi apologizes for the affair and she slaps him. She then tells him that she can forgive him.
Connie admits that she’s glad Tommy is around because he will be able to take care of Teresi after she passes away. She reminds Teresi that can’t happen if Teresi puts Tommy in jail by snitching. She tells him he’ll be all alone if he snitches on Tommy.
Donovan stops by Angela’s office by her request.
She asks him if he ever heard from Blanca again. He tells her he can’t answer that.
Angela reminds him that she had his back when Saxe tried to frame him for being the mole. He then tells her that she needs to watch her back because she has no friends in the office.
When Angela asks Donovan if he’s her friend, he tells her that she needs to stay away from Ghost because her judgment is terrible when she’s with him. Angela says she doesn’t understand what Ghost has to do with her cases. This irritates Donovan.
He then tells her he refuses to take the fall for her and he no longer owes her anything. Donovan then storms out of her office.
Ghost calls up Dre to see if their arrangement is still on. Ghost is to take out Dre, while Dre is to take out Jason. Dre says the plan is still in effect.
They both agree to keep everything between them.
Ghost, Tommy and Kanan meet with Jason.
Tommy hands Jason a check for $2 million of cleaned money. It’s the amount he owed Jason.
Jason then asks for an update on the Jimenez, and Tommy explains they are still alive but their recent arrest means the Feds have eyes on them.
At this point, Jason comes to the conclusion that if the Feds let them go, that means they probably snitched on his organization. So that means the Jimenez need to die immediately. He tells them their timeline to kill the Jimenez has just been pushed up.
He also wants the ports Tommy promised. Kanan interjects and says they can do this and Jason tells him he wasn’t talking to him. Jason tells Tommy it’s good he gave him the money because all three of them would have been dead by now if he had not.
After they leave the meeting, Ghost asks Tommy why he didn’t them them the Jimenez got arrested. But Tommy doesn’t see the issue considering Ghost keeps stuff from him all the time. He also reminds Ghost that Jason is his boss, this is his organization and he is going to do things the way he wants to. He says he has somewhere he has to be and dips on the elevator alone.
Ghost then pulls Kanan to the side and asks him to take out Diego since Diego knows who Ghost is. Kanan agrees to this.
Proctor runs into Saxe.
Saxe tells him that he can make sure he gets his license back if he gives him some information on Angela trying to cover up a murder. Proctor says he will do this but he wants his license reinstated first.
Tasha meets with Ghost at the bar at Truth.
She tells him that Terry is a go and Ghost shames her for sleeping with Terry while Ghost was on trial.
“That’s some low sh*t, Tasha.” – Ghost
“Excuse me? Are you f*cking kidding me? know you’e not trying to come at me about adultery. And just too you know, it didn’t happen until after he got you off.” – Tasha
“And then he got you off.” – Ghost
“F*ck you, Ghost.” – Tasha
She gives him a cold stare.
Tasha then says she could have had a good life but she threw it away the night that she held that gun for him. But the thing about Terry is she will never have to hold or hide a gun for him. Ghost then claps back that she’s now asking Terry to do that for her.
He tells Tasha that he doesn’t think Terry is built for what she’s asking him to do.
Ghost doesn’t believe Terry will really go down for her but Tasha believes he will.
Despite Tasha’s confidence, Ghost tells her she scared Angela the other night and they can’t have her run off and try to save herself because that would be a problem for them. He wants her to understand this is about Tariq and after he’s safe, they can both live the lives they want with the people they want.
She tells him she knows he’s going to do what he wants before walking away.
On the way out, she runs into Councilman Tate who calls her Mrs. St. Patrick. She’s not thrilled by this.
Tate greats Ghost and asks how marriage is going. Ghost says things are complicated.
Ghost then asks Tate when he was going to tell him that he’s running for Governor. Tate says he planned to but he wanted to Ghost that they can no longer work together on the Queens Child Project.
He feels Ghost is too emotionally unstable. He will return all the money Ghost contributed. Tate walks away.
Angela has lunch with Steve.
She tells him that she needs a new job. He tells her he knows of something in DC. Angela then gets a text from Tommy telling her they need to meet at her place.
When she enters her apartment, she is startled when she sees Tommy is already there, eating organic chips on her couch.
Tommy asks her why the Jimenez were cut loose. Angela says she doesn’t know and they would still be in custody if it were up to her. He tells her they need to be taken out sooner than later.
Angela then asks Tommy why he would want to take out his own connect. She then realizes that the Jimenez are not Tommy’s connect and he’s not the distro. She also realizes that he works for the competitor of the Jimenez.
When she asks Tommy who he’s working for, Tommy tells her that she’s not getting that information out of him.
He then gets a text from Teresi telling Tommy to pick him up because he has someone for Tommy to meet. On Tommy’s way out, Angela tells him to stop breaking in her apartment.
Tommy blows her a kiss and flips her off. He leaves to go pick up Sammy and Teresi.
During the car ride, Teresi tells Tommy they are going to meet Teresi’s MCC connect. Apparently this person has been selling Tommy’s drugs at the prison.
Teresi asks Tommy how he’s going to clean the money and Tommy isn’t sure since Ghost is now out. Teresi then asks how Tommy used to do it and he explains they used to own a Wash ’n Folds.
They arrive at the MCC’s connect’s place and greet one another.
The connect opens the garage to hand Teresi a tool case full of cash. Teresi notices it doesn’t feel right. He opens it and sees that all the money isn’t there. The connect panics and claims he was going to make up for it the next time he pays Teresi.
So Teresi decides to murder the connect, and he and Tommy bond over killing the man with his own drill.
Tariq walks into his dorm room and listens to the voicemail Ghost left him. He begins to text him back but deletes the message before sending it.
He then picks up his other phone and tells Kanan he’s ready for “the long game.”
On the ride back from taking out their connect, Tommy and Teresi bond over how they have killed other people. Teresi is really enjoying the conversation and invites Tommy over for dinner to enjoy Connie’s cooking.
Sammy thinks this invite is a way to get more information out of Tommy but Teresi lets him know that he’s not invited, signaling to Sammy that the dinner isn’t to get more information out of Tommy. Teresi genuinely wants to spend more time with him.
When they pull up to a corner store, Tommy gets a call from Kate. She realizes Tommy is with Teresi and gets upset. Tommy ends the call after he tells her he has no interest in talking to her again.
Tommy and Teresi head to the house and Connie cooks dinner.
Teresi tells Connie that Tommy needs a legit business to clean his money. She suggests he starts a private ambulance business that way cops won’t bother him.
Both Teresi and Tommy thinks this is a genius idea.
Connie then asks if Tommy has a girlfriend. He says he doesn’t but he has been dealing with someone on and off. Connie and Teresi push him to bring her over to dinner.
There is then a bang on the door. It’s Tommy’s mother Kate and she’s yelling that she knows he’s in there.
Tommy goes to the door and tries to calm her down to no avail.
She storms into the house and starts yelling at Teresi and Connie.
When Tommy asks how she even knew where Teresi lived, things get heated.
“Do you know how many times I drove around here wondering if he would ever leave that b*tch?” – Kate
“F*ck you!” – Connie
“F*ck you!” – Kate
Teresi and Tommy restrain Kate and she yells out that Tommy is Teresi’s son. Connie says she knows that already. Kate is shocked Connie already knows.
Tommy demands that Kate leaves.
“Ma, you get the f*ck out of here right now.” – Tommy
“You heard my son, go.” – Connie
This angers Kate and they have to restrain her again.
“You a*sholes deserve each other.” – Kate
She is then dragged out the house by Teresi and Tommy.
Ghost confronts Terry in a parking deck.
He tells Terry that he better back Tasha up. Terry says that he believes that Ghost is the one who killed Ray Ray. Ghost denies this and Terry says Tasha told him that Tariq killed Ray Ray.
Regardless of what Terry really believes, Ghost tells him that he better corroborate Tasha’s gun story or he’s going to report Terry to the ethics committee.
Tommy drops by Keisha’s place. He tells her he had dinner with Teresi and his wife. Things went good and he told them about her. They want her to come over for dinner. This flatters Keisha but she tells Tommy that he has to be serious about her.
He says he is and they sleep together.
Diego meets up with Dre so Dre can give him some cash. He tells Diego that Arturo was the one who snitched. Dre then assures him that Arturo has been taken care of. He also lies and says that Cristobal is the one who wanted Arturo to be the head of the Toros.
2-Bit shoots over an irritated glance towards Dre.
Dre then invites Diego to a private party to celebrate their success. He assures Diego that plenty of women will be there, and Diego accepts his invitation, telling Dre he will only have one solider he trusts with him.
The next morning, Keisha is surprised to still see Tommy there. He’s fixing her a bowl of cereal. They agree that they are a thing.
Later on, Dre calls up Ghost to tell him how things will go with Diego. He explains Diego thinks he’s attending a private party and Ghost should get there early so he can wait inside to kill him.
Since Diego has one solider with him, Dre will leave the key to the back door for Ghost.
Ghost tells Dre what hotel he can find Jason. He tells Dre Jason will have guards with him.
2-Bit witnesses the conversation and Dre tells him that he wants him and Spanky to kill Ghost after Ghost kills Diego.
Dre also tells him that he’s taking out Jason and they will be able to still have a connect in Alicia after Diego is taken out.
Keisha and Tasha meet for dinner. Keisha tells Tasha that she and Tommy slept together but it seems like Tommy wants more this time. She also slips up and tells Tasha that Tommy met his biological father. This is news to Tasha.
She gets a text from Terry asking her to come over so he can show her something.
2-Bit meets with Kanan and tells him about Dre’s plan to take out Diego, Ghost and Jason. Kanan says things won’t go that way and he’s going to be the one to kill Diego. He’s also not going to allow Jason to be taken out because he wants to replace Tommy in Jason’s organization. He tells 2-Bit that he can join him after everything has been done. 2-Bit agrees to this and will tell Spanky the change of plans.
Kanan also tells 2-Bit that Dre is a snake and he stole Tommy’s whole organization right under his nose.
Ghost meets with Alphonse, Tate’s affiliate from the surrounding neighborhoods.
He tells Ghost that the location is still secure as long as Tate keeps paying him. Ghost then offers to double what Tate is paying.
Alphonso then reveals that Tate “skims” and take funds off the top to pay him.
Proctor meets with Tommy and tells him he got his license back. Tommy then tells him he killed a man the other day. Proctor tells Tommy not to tell him stuff like that and Tommy says he just like trolling him for his reactions. He’s also reminding Proctor who he is dealing with, too.
After the jokes, Proctor then asks Tommy if he knows anything about Angela covering up a murder. Tommy hasn’t heard anything about this. He then asks Proctor how he knew that Sandoval was in the MCC. He says Silver told him and Proctor then realizes that Angela is the one who told Silver.
Both suspect Angela set them up to have Sandoval killed. If this is the murder Angela is cover up, they are all implicated. Proctor says he will try to handle it.
On the way out of the car, Proctor tells Tommy to stop killing people and he says no.
Teresi meets with Mak and Saxe again. He tells them it was a murder at the MCC and it was Ghost killing a security guard. Teresi demands total immunity and they promise it to him.
He says he will testify if need be.
Tariq and Kanan are playing a game of chess. He tells Kanan Ghost left him a voicemail apologizing for all of his lies. Kanan says the best way to handle an enemy is to let them think you have forgiven them and then sneak attack.
“I get it. You gotta be one move ahead.” – Tariq
“No, son. You gotta be three moves ahead. You got a gangsta born in you. – Kanan
Kanan then tells Tariq that if he sells drugs at Choate, he’ll make a lot of money and get independence from Ghost.
“I’m ready. I’m ready to become my own man. Ready to be a hustler just like you.” – Tariq
Angela gets in her car and is startled to find Tommy in the backseat. He reminds her that she told him to stop breaking into her apartment.
He asks her how many people knew where Sandoval was being held. She doesn’t deny that she told Silver where he was so Tommy and Ghost would have him killed.
Tommy tells her that means she’s in no position to tell him what to do because if he tells anyone what she did, she’s going down.
She tells him she could be going down regardless. She tells him that someone named John is trying to take her down and questions f Tommy could take hm out. Tommy says he can but Angela backs off and says she could try another way before it leads to that. Tommy tells her to update him on how things work out with John.
Kanan and Tariq grab a bite to eat at a bar. He tells Tariq about what it’s like being in prison. He refuses to go back. Kanan then gets a text from Ghost saying it’s time to take out Diego.
Angela meets with Mak in her office.
She tells him she needs a friend in the office. She offers him a job at the DEA that he can only get if she gives him a recommendation.
“What do you want to know?” – Mak
When Tasha arrives to Terry’s place, she finds that it’s empty. The furniture, everything is gone and Terry is nowhere to be found.
She finds a copy of the subpoena with his name on it, calling him to testify. Attached to it is a sticky that reads “I’m sorry Tasha.”
Ghost meets with Tate, again.
He plays the recording of Alphonse admitting that Tate has been stealing money from the Queens Child Project to pay him.
“Listen to me, I am the Queens Child Project, motherf*cker. I’m not going anywhere. So you go win that governor’s seat and make sure that you make Queens Child Project your top priority, or I’ll make you mine.” – Ghost
“I’ll be in touch after my announcement.” – Tate
Tate walks off and Ghost texts Angela telling her they need to celebrate.
Diego and his solider arrive to Dre’s spot. When they get to the room, Kanan jumps out and kills them both. He then severs Diego’s head.
Spank and 2-Bit watch Kanan leave while waiting in the car. 2-Bit tells Spanky that they will soon be working for Kanan and the Serbs.
Kanan heads to the hotel to meet with Jason. He puts the duffel bag on the table. Jason opens it up and sees Diego’s severed head.
He tells Jason that he did what Tommy and Ghost took too long to do. When Jason asks what Kanan wants, he tells Jason he wants Tommy’s spot in his organization. Kanan says he’s not going to take out Tommy because Tommy and Ghost will take out each other.
Jason says if Kanan pulls all of this off, then they can talk about him taking Tommy’s spot. Kanan then tells Jason he needs to leave because someone (Dre) is on the way to kill him. Jason would rather kill hm but Kanan says they can’t because he’s the only link to Alicia.
“You don’t get your ports until her b*tch a*s is dead.” – Kanan
“Smart.” – Jason
So Jason leaves the hotel.
Dre later arrives to the hotel dressed as the cleaning staff.
He pulls out his gun and finds that Jason has left the hotel.
Tasha delivers some bad news, Ghost has a new plan.
Ghost and Angela are having dinner at her place. He tells her it’s the first of many dinners together. Angela says she can get used to this. There is then a knock on the door. Angela gets up to answer it and Kanan sends Ghost a text confirming that he handled Diego.
It’s Tasha and she demands to know what Ghost said to Terry. Angela demands to know as well. He says that he just gave him some incentive.
Tasha says his plan backfired because Terry is gone and has skipped town. Even his office says he on a leave of absence and he’s been subpoenaed.
“We’re f*cked.” – Tasha
Angela says that Terry leaving makes it look like he knew incriminating information.
After this is said, Tasha says the only way out of this is for her to turn herself in. Angela is upset to learn that Tasha lied to her about the gun being stolen. But Tasha said she lied for insurance just in case they ended up where they are now.
Ghost refuses to let Tasha turn herself in.
“Tasha, if anybody’s going down for my family, it’s me.” – Ghost
