Rasheeda and Kirk have a date night.
Kirk and Rasheeda have a romantic night. Rasheeda is confused when she sees that the meal of choice is waffles but Kirk reminds her that waffles are what they had on their first date. They toast to being married for 20 years. Both agree that they should try to balance their work lives better so they can have more special moments together.
Sierra wants to get along better with Shooter.
Sierra has a bite to eat with Shooter and the kids. She even gives him a birthday gift after she went off on him at the courthouse.
They confront their daughter about how things have been going to school. She’s been having a lot of drama and Sierra thinks their split may have caused this. So Sierra wants her and Shooter to work on getting along better.
Alexis makes a major revelation.
Joc goes by the hair salon he invested in a year ago. Sharonda, his business partner, is irritated by him, but he has Alexis with him so they can discuss business.
He brings up the Instagram post Alexis wrote on Instagram about being a victim of human trafficking. Alexis says it was hard to be open but she wants to be a role model for her daughter. So Joc is planning an open forum to discuss human trafficking. He invites Alexis to come and speak.
She says she will think about it.
Bambi gives an update on Momma Dee and Scrappy.
*Rasheeda meets up with Mimi, Bambi, and Sierra to shop for some clothes. She tells them she’s planning a ski trip and she wants them to go with her. Rasheeda figures this will be a great girls’ trip.
After Rasheeda confirms that Karlie has been invited too, Sierra isn’t thrilled. She tells them that Karlie told her that karma is her best friend. So she feels like Karlie could do something vindictive. She’s also worried her kids Paris and Mason aren’t handling the split from Shooter well.
Bambi has her own family drama. She recaps for everyone the latest on Momma Dee and Cece’s feud. At this point, Scrappy won’t even talk to Momma Dee. So a girls’ trip is right on time for her. She really needs some time away.
Alexis tells her story.
It’s the day of Joc’s human trafficking panel. Kendra is on the panel and Joc hopes Alexis will come to speak as well.
One of the victims of human trafficking talks about her experience. She says she was forced to sleep with 20 men a day.
Alexis arrives and joins the panel. She says she wasn’t kidnapped but she was held hostage at 16. She had no way to contact her mother after her phone was taken. She’s thankful for the man who saved her life.
Akbar V. gets up to speak and says she’s proud of Alexis for being so open about her experience.
Karlie supports Sierra during a scary incident.
Sierra and her daughter end up on the local news. Her daughter was jumped by a student and the student’s mother in her school bathroom.
Karlie tells Rasheeda and Mimi that she did reach out to Sierra after she saw the news. Even though she feels for Sierra, she still doesn’t trust her. But Mimi and Rasheeda are hopeful that the two women can repair their friendship at some point.
Sierra and Shooter talk things out.
Back at Shooter’s home, Sierra and Shooter talk to Paris about what happened. Sierra tells Shooter what happened and explains that she tried to talk the student’s mother out of attacking Paris before it all went down.
Sierra knows that Paris was going back and forth with the woman’s daughter, but it’s not cool that a grown woman got involved in that way. She can’t believe this person broke into the school to attack Paris.
Shooter says that Paris needs to make better decisions considering she lost her brother to senseless violence. It’s time for her to make better decisions in her life.
In the meantime, Sierra has filed a restraining order on the woman and her daughter. For now, Paris will stay at Shooter’s place.
Kirk gets some bad news.
Kirk’s oldest son and a female employee from the bistro were arrested. They were accused of having weed and a shotgun in their possession. Kirk doesn’t believe this. And Rasheeda questions it, too. It’s a really stressful situation that they have to deal with on top of the other things that have been an issue. Rasheeda and Kirk hope they can get through all of this as a family.
There’s still hope for Sierra and Karlie.
It’s the day of the ski trip. Karlie is hopeful that she can mend things with Sierra.
Rasheeda shows up to tell the women that she can’t go because Kirk’s oldest son was arrested. She tells the ladies to be on their best behavior.
Sierra opens up about Paris’ situation.
While on the bus, Sierra says the woman and child who attacked Paris at school live in her building. She gets emotional while talking about it. In a green screen interview, Karlie says she wouldn’t have gone on a trip if this happened to her daughter. Or she’d want her daughter there with her.
Karlie is still mad that Sierra mushed her.
Bambi says she feels sick and the other women think she may be pregnant, again. But Bambi says this can’t be true since she’s breastfeeding. But the other women tell her this isn’t true so she needs to take a test.
After Sierra says Shekinah just texted that she’s on the way, Spice says they aren’t cool anymore because Shekinah wasn’t loyal.
KK exposes Cheyenne.
When KK runs into Cheyenne at Shooter’s place, she decides to put her on blast to Scrapp. KK says Cheyenne went off on her in a text message over a phone bill. And it’s all because she’s mad about what KK said about Shooter. So KK tells Scrapp she saw Cheyenne messing around with Shooter.
