‘Black Ink Crew Chicago’ Recap: Things Get Scary Amid the Pandemic

On the season finale of “Black Ink Crew Chicago,” Charmaine and Neek get closer to becoming new parents. As the couple arrives at the hospital, they quickly prepare emotionally to go through the experience during the pandemic. At first, Charmaine is terrified. She’s still missing her mother and she’s not sure how things will go during such a scary time. But she gets through it with Neek’s support. And Baby Nola Glenda Bey makes her debut to the world.

Meanwhile, Ryan has his own scary experience. When he is forced to close down the shop, he worries about his employees.

Kitty also has the same fears as 2nd City Ink suffers the same fate since tattoo shops are nonessential businesses. Interestingly enough, the pandemic forces her to get along with Jessica. And Steven makes his interest in Kitty known.

And scary times bring Don and Ashley back to reality.

    I really liked seeing Ms. Kitty and Ms. Jess get along and talk to each other nicely. It was a refreshing change.
