Mendeecees and Yandy have been through a lot on LHHNY.
“Love And Hip Hop New York” star Mendeecees Harris’ love story with Yandy Smith has been featured on the show. Recently, Yandy opened up about their hardships. And she revealed that it was very hard to deal with Mendeecees going to prison. At the time, their son Omere was very young.
Her stress levels were so high she became depressed. She recalled struggling to do everyday things like turn on the lights. But most importantly, she struggled to feed Omere. Things wouldn’t change until Yandy’s mother came to the house to pray for her. And she’s thankful for her mother.

Although Mendeecees’ time in prison was a hard time for the couple to go through, that situation wasn’t their only obstacle. In fact, they had a lot of drama with Mendeecees two baby mommas. Of course, this played out quite a bit on LHHNY.
Things got so bad that Samantha Wallace was actually assaulted at the reunion. It was later revealed that the attackers were Yandy’s cousin and a male acquaintance. This is something that Samantha isn’t over. Some it’s possible that the issues between the women may not have been resolved.
Interestingly enough, some fans of the show aren’t over what happened either. After someone asked if Little Mendeecees still isn’t living with Samantha, he decided to set the record straight.

It’s the fact that they tried to act like Samantha was some bum babymother and the sheeple played stupid because they was Yandy fans. Like how he always there when we only see you with him on the show… I’ve always said this but people loved to praise Yandy when she really is low down for allowing another mother to be downplayed on TV when she claim she loves her kids to death. That’s a little sick if you ask me. Thank God he’s such a loyal son and set the record straight for the clowns in the love and hip hop circus!

Samantha agreed to be portrayed in that light for a check. She did not have to sign that contract to put her or her son on reality TV.

Yandy perpetrated the lie though. And Samantha didn’t allow anything. She always defended herself when they lied about her parenting. Just like Erika defended herself when they lied on her. Did y’all forget how VH1 later exposed all the lies Yandy and Mendeecees told? It’s still on YouTube. I get they wanted a certain image but it’s not cool to lie on people to achieve that. They’re all family whether they like it or not.

I get that some of you love Yandy so hating Samantha seems logical, but how do you discredit what her own son said here? He’s telling you his mother has been in his life and he’s been living with her. If he’s saying what you saw on the show wasn’t accurate, believe him. After watching Yandy’s episode of Uncensored, I think I understand the situation a little bit more. She really cares a lot about what people think about her. Yandy was probably embarrassed about having babies before marriage. She knew she wouldn’t be able to marry Mendeecees legally because of all the debt he owes, so she wanted to have the wedding to make people think she was a wife. I remember how she was on IG flashing that ring all over the place just for it to later come out that she wasn’t even married. I don’t look at her any less for not being married. But I do think it was silly for her to lie about it and even have a wedding special on VH1 for something she knew wasn’t real.

Cute sentiment, but no, they aren’t married. They are boyfriend and girlfriend. And Yandy’s last name is still Smith despite the fake name changing ceremony she had on the show. You can’t keep telling lies and think they eventually become real if you repeat them enough. If you’re not legally married, you’re not married.

Duh. They kept trying to make Samatha out to be this deadbeat mother who served hard prison time (false) but it’s Mendeecees who went to prison and served time. Does that make him a bad father? No. Things happen. But you could tell that a lot of their little storylines on the show were exaggerated for drama. And Yandy just said a few days ago that her contract expired. I would imagine part of her obligations included bringing the drama, even if it’s contrived. Hopefully now all these grownups are getting along for the sake of all the kids.

Yandy was good to all of Mendecees kids whether his son lived with yandy or not. Her goal was to bring all of his kids together.
