Iyanla Vanzant has been criticized for how she does things on “Iyanla: Fix My Life.”

When it comes to “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” the show has managed to be controversial since the first season. While the focal point of the show is people wanting to change themselves for the better, oftentimes Iyanla Vanzant knows they can’t do that until they fix the relationships they have with other people. Over the years, a lot of these strained relationships involve other family members.

In fact, “Love And Hip Hop Miami” star Shay Johnson came on the show to work things out with her mother. But she clashed with Iyanla and slammed the process. So Iyanla decided not to talk to Shay anymore. And the whole situation was something Shay has discussed multiple times on social media.

Even Neffeteria Pugh chimed in and spoke on her own experience on “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” Both Shay and Neffeteria were critical of Iyanla’s approach. They feel as if she’s too harsh at times and her process isn’t for everyone.

LisaRaye McCoy wanted Iyanla Vanzant’s help.

Interestingly enough, actress LisaRaye McCoy will be on the upcoming episode. She has problems with her mother and daughter. So she’s hoping Iyanla will be able to help them get to the bottom of their issues with one another.

On a preview for the episode, LisaRaye’s mother goes off on her, too.

If people don’t want to hear the truth they should not come on the show. When they are called out they complain. I am sure they know before they sign up they know it will not be a walk in the park

It’s interesting that Iyanla described Lisa’s mother as bitter and unhappy because that’s exactly how I’d describe Lisa too. She likes to get on YouTube and drag other black women too much for my liking. And what she just said about Halle was trash. Same for Vivica. They act like bitter and miserable mean girls.

Lisa Raye is not happy. She is a miserable person. She needs to work on herself and stop talking about people. She has alot of bitterness inside of her. Halle Berry has a man where is hers? Stop trying to put somebody else busy on social media when your life ain’t together. Mind your business.

    • Ida Gray

      November 28, 2020 at 5:25 am

She never got help for why she chose a man that could not commit to one relationship, she never address her deep unresolved issues and they do not just go away because she / we ignore them. She loves to wear all white clothes but her heart, and mind needs help.
      Sincerely written

I use to like bitter Betty Lisa, but she done messed up now, talking about Halle like that! She way to old to be talking about what she “heard”! Go see if you can “hear” a career!

    • Unknown

      November 27, 2020 at 12:50 pm

Yes, that was trash what she said about Halle. I guess LisaRaye’s box is trash as well since she can’t keep a man. Just mean spirited.

    • Denise Clerk

      November 27, 2020 at 11:50 pm

I completely agree with you. To put another woman down talking about “what you heard” she made herself look petty and pathetic.

Why dont these people go get private professional help? Iyanla is unapologetically herself and I dont get why people keep going on the show and then show out. If you know of the show then you know of the process, stop calling her out. That check must be real nice to let your business out like that. I would never!!

Vinzant is unprofessional..calling harsh names to the person you are counseling,
insisting they refrain from expressing their feelings,& all that fake hugging is not
    “A HEALING PROCESS”!!!They should go to a
Trained counselor because Vinzant needs help
With her own kids & keeping a man!!!!!!!
