The Braxtons made it through quarantine.
The episode begins in Atlanta. It’s been four months since the pandemic caused stay-at-home orders all over the country. Towanda video calls Trina and Von while they’re at home with Evelyn. Evelyn’s been living with Trina and Von for about four months. While they love her, Evelyn’s time in the home is interfering with their romantic time.
The pandemic also affected her bar. But interestingly enough, by not opening the bar, Trina was able to save money during the pandemic. While Towanda and Trina talk, Sean is outside with Towanda’s kids. Trina jokes about Towanda being pregnant. Towanda denies it, but she’s open to it. All Sean has to do is, “drop the load.”
Back in LA, Toni’s texting her kids that they can’t go out with their friends to a restaurant. She’s still socially distancing due to Lupus and she doesn’t want her kids bringing back the virus to their home. Because of Lupus, Toni’s high-risk and has to take extra precautions to not catch the virus.
Toni’s manager calls and tells her that their album tour is postponed until next Spring at the earliest. They are selling merchandise and giving out “Breathe Again” masks – at no cost – to honor George Floyd.
Sean and Towanda quarantined together.
Back in Atlanta, Towanda, and Sean are waking up. Sean has been staying with Towanda since the pandemic stay at home orders were issued. This meant he left California for Georgia. As a result, Towanda’s been really happy to have him around.
Later on, Toni and Traci have their first call since the wedding. The call goes well between the two. Both are a bit apprehensive due to what happened. However, they don’t dwell on what occurred. Toni learns that Big Kevin and Little Kevin are essential workers and have to constantly head out to work.
Next, Trina and Von sort out their chores and Big Kevin questions a shirt Traci’s wearing, which says “Thou Shalt Not Try Me.”
After her call with Traci, Toni calls Michael Jr. Toni complains about Michael’s slow internet connection which freezes the call.
To kill time in Atlanta, Sean and Towanda go out shopping for biking shoes. While Sean is an avid biker, Towanda isn’t. While shopping, Towanda says she wants to visit her dad to check in on him. She asks Sean to look after the kids and Sean agrees. Towada appreciates this as she’s seeing how Sean would be to her children while married to her. Sean slips in a baby reference. Towanda brushes it off seemingly. But she’s open to having another baby.
Towanda drops a bomb on Traci.
Back in Maryland, Big Kevin and Traci are out in their yard when Towanda calls. Towanda reaches out and lets Traci know she’ll be in the area to visit their dad. She also wants to visit Traci. Traci’s surprised about this and is apprehensive. It’s been months since she saw her sisters and Traci’s still healing.
When she hangs up, she tells Kevin about Towanda coming over. They also discuss the progress she’s making in therapy. They then ride around in their subdivision on scooters.
Meanwhile in Atlanta, Toni calls Trina and they’re going stir crazy. Things have been slow for both of them. Toni’s tour was postponed and Trina’s time on “Sister Circle” came to an end. Von comes in and tells Trina he doesn’t like what she’s cooking. Caleb comes around and Von drops hints that Caleb needs to move out.
Later on, Toni has a virtual appointment with her doctor and she’s upbeat. Toni’s ready to see her family and the doctor says it’s okay as long as they’re negative for the virus. Her doctor advises that the sisters need to quarantine for up to 72 hours before Toni can finally see them once they arrive in LA.
Toni plans a trip for her sisters to visit.
After her call with the doctor, Toni calls Traci to be the first to invite her. Traci tells Toni she’ll think about it. Despite what happened at the wedding, Traci does miss her sisters. Toni’s hopeful all her sisters can come together and just have their “sister time.”
Meanwhile, Trina and Von go out for a double date of sorts. They head into a restaurant doing their best to practice social distancing and didn’t take their masks off until they were seated. They meet up with Xscape’s Tamika and her husband Darnell. Trina’s really happy the husbands get along.
They catch up about the bachelor party first. When the husbands head to the bathroom, Tamika and Trina talk about their music careers and Tamika asks why Trina isn’t singing anymore. Trina says she’s no longer in love with music. Tamika tells Trina fans would love her but Trina’s still apprehensive.
Sean and Towanda are out bike riding in Atlanta and Towanda’s having a good time. Afterward, Sean brings up how he wants Towanda to remove her ex-husband’s name from her wrist. Towanda was expecting this and tells him he’s going to remove the tattoo. In her interview, Towanda brings up her ex-husband is not in her nor her kid’s life. While Towanda steps away, Sean calls Michael Sr. to say that he wants to talk to him in Maryland.
