“Black Ink Crew Chicago” star Charmaine vents on Twitter.

Charmaine hasn’t had an easy time on “Black Ink Crew Chicago.” In fact, her husband Neek took to social media in the past to call out the former producers of the show.  And he said that Charmaine was lied on and accused of messing around with Van when they wouldn’t agree to break up for a storyline.

Now Charmaine has vented about her issues with the show as well.

Hours ago, she had a lot to say on Twitter. And she doesn’t like that she had to deal with violence at the job.

She wrote, “Crazy how black women physically fighting was normalized on reality tv. Never got in a fight in my life and then had to become a soldier bc everyday was a battle. Now it’s oh Charmaine can/can’t fight. It’s sad and not fair.”

Lily’s use of the N-word really bothered Charmaine.

Charmaine also discussed her past issues with Lily, “Let’s not forget I had to make a storyline out of a non black person calling me the N word bc in real life when I asked her to stop multiple times she actually ran to Instagram and smeared the N word on her page and they kept her around and even brought her back.”

She added, “Being verbally, mentally, and physically attacked as a part of your job ?  back then I thought it was what I signed up for. But moving forward I’m not taking any unwarranted heat from anyone – cast member or producer. Treat me right or don’t deal with me at all.”

Charmaine also said that she thinks the whole cast has PTSD from the show, “Ima leave it there because we have been through so much it’s like PTSD. Some of you will never understand bc to you we are some clowns. But clowns are people too ? .”

She expects the narrative on “Black Ink Crew Chicago” to change with “Big Fish Entertainment” no longer producing the show.

A Twitter user then responded and told Charmaine she can’t blame the world because she “can’t fight.” In response to this, she wrote, “I’m not blaming the world! For the amount of times I was assaulted on tv I held my own no matter what u says in the edits. But it’s not cool to feel the pressure of needing to know how to fight to go to work. You missed the point, from the looks of ur icon I’m not surprised.”

The same person then said that Charmaine was “raised like a white girl.” She then wrote, “Who told you I was raised like a white girl? Lily? Because my parents had jobs and put me in private school? Because they built a house in a neighborhood that I can play outside in? Regardless I’m the only black in the school and you are blacker than ever when that’s the case!!!”
