Yandy Smith’s issues with Infinity Gilyard began while Mendeecees Harris was in prison.
“Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” fans have a lot to say about the recent episode. On the current season, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris have joined the cast. The couple is still trying to get adjusted now that Mendeecees is no longer in prison. So since they wanted to start a new chapter in their lives, they decided it would be best to move to Atlanta. This was also something they felt would be great for their children.
Interestingly enough, things haven’t been going so smoothly with their foster daughter Infinity Gilyard. Yandy said on the show that Infinity began to change after she got into a relationship with a much older individual. And she accused this individual of putting some negative thoughts in Infinity’s head. According to Yandy, this person even tried to make it so Yandy would lose custody of the children while Mendeecees was in prison.
So Yandy gave Infinity an ultimatum. She was told that she would have to end communication with that person. If she refused, Yandy wanted Infinity to go live with her grandmother. Eventually, Yandy discovered that Infinity was still in communication with that person. Infinity then had to move out.
This soured things between Yandy and Infinity. But they attempted to hash things out after Mendeecees came back home. After Infinity told the couple she wouldn’t be with them for Christmas, Mendeecees posted a family photo during the holiday to Instagram. Infinity felt left out and told her followers she would write a tell-all book.
To no surprise, this didn’t sit well with Yandy and Mendeecees. They have been trying to get in a better place with Infinity, but they weren’t comfortable when she suggested she could move back with them now that they live in Atlanta.
On the latest episode, they made the tough decision to tell Infinity that she has to now live on her own. But they would handle her bills the first couple of months as she looks for a job. Infinity broke down in tears and told the couple she felt abandoned.
Fans of the show have been calling out Mendeecees and Yandy on social media. And they had something to say in response.
