Phor is over trying to make a relationship with Nina work.

Don comes back to 9Mag. The convention is coming up, so Ryan asks Don to handle all the planning. This way Don can continue to put a lot of his focus on opening up his gym.

Charmaine is still trying to recruit artists for 2nd City Ink. She calls *******. He’s transitioning into a trans woman and wants to now be called Heaven. Charmaine is happy to support Heaven through her process and Heaven agrees to work at the shop part-time.

Phor talks to Don and Ryan about his relationship with Nina. He doesn’t think that a relationship will work between them. But he wants to take the legal steps to make sure that things will be fair when it comes to the custody of their son.

Charmaine continues to struggle.

It’s Draya’s first day back at 2nd City Ink. She’s not happy to see that it’s pretty empty and there aren’t other artists there. Luckily, Prince’s brother Johnny arrives with a couple of clients. But Draya is disappointed after Miss Kitty tells her that the shop doesn’t have a manager.

While Phor is at the studio, he gets a text from Nina. She tells him she wants to move out. And that just adds to the tension.

Charmaine’s dad Mike calls her and says he had a lung scan. He isn’t feeling good and he’s feeling like he won’t ever get better. This makes Charmaine break down in tears. Kitty tries to console her and lets her know that she and others can help out more at the shop. However, Charmaine wants to stay in control of things. And she doesn’t think her personal life gets to override her business.

Nina and Phor hash it out.

Phor gets home and sees Nina in the process of moving out. He tells her they need space but he will be the one to move out so she doesn’t have to stress out. He’ll get a DNA test so they can begin the process of making sure that he has parental rights. But a relationship isn’t working. And it’s time for them to learn how to peacefully co-parent.

Charmaine and Don are in a better place.

Don checks in on Charmaine at her shop. He invites her to the opening of his gym. Plus, both compliment each other on their journeys into entrepreneurship. They have come a long way since their fall out a couple of years ago. Plus, Don tries to console Charmaine about her father wanting to begin the hospice process at home in Louisiana. He says Ashley just lost her mother to stage four kidney failure.

Neek still isn’t feeling Don.

Charmaine later tells Neek about how great things went with Don. Neek isn’t impressed. He still isn’t over what went down with the Van situation. Both Neek and Charmaine claim Don lied behind the scenes and was responsible for the rumor about Van and Charmaine messing around spreading around the cast. It still hurts Charmaine that she was lied on. So Neek doesn’t want Charmaine to have a friendship with Don or support his new gym.

Unfortunately for Don, he learns one of his staff members tested positive for Covid on the day of the grand opening for APE-X Gym. So he has to cancel the event and he hopes to reschedule it soon.
