LisaRaye found out Da Brat and fiancée Jesseca “Judy” Dupart are expecting on social media.
Last month, “Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta” star Da Brat confirmed that she and Jesseca “Judy” Dupart are expecting their first child together. The couple is also engaged to be married. For Da Brat, being with Judy has resulted in her taking some big steps in life. Not too long ago, Da Brat came out. She said she was afraid to confirm her s*xuality. But being in love with Judy gave her the courage to do what felt right. However, her sister LisaRaye McCoy learned about the relationship and Da Brat’s choice to come out on social media.
This didn’t sit well with LisaRaye. So when Da Brat appeared on Fox Soul’s “Cocktails with Queen,” LisaRaye confirmed their relationship had turned rocky. She didn’t hold back about her feelings either. And she was hurt that she found out about the big changes in her sister’s life via social media.
Although Da Brat would apologize and explain her choices on WE tv’ “Brat Loves Judy,” LisaRaye recently revealed that she’s having the same problem once again. During an interview with Raqi 4Real, Raqi brought up Da Brat’s exciting baby news. She asked LisaRaye, “Also, Da Brat just said she’s having a baby. How do you feel about her having a new baby?” And LisaRaye answered, “Wonderful.”
Raqi went on to ask LisaRaye if she knows the baby’s gender. When LisaRaye said no, Raqi began to detect something was off. LisaRaye also began to look visibly upset. Raqi then asked LisaRaye if she knew Da Brat and Judy are expecting. And LisaRaye said, “I found out through social media.”
LisaRaye said that going through this takes her back to the last incident, “It takes me back because I’m sure that you have heard about the last kind of encounter that we had that went viral, you know?”
