For Dr. Heavenly Kimes, it’s important to always stay true to herself.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes and the other women of “Married to Medicine” have their share of supporters. However, they also receive plenty of criticism on social media. Some viewers feel as if the ladies oftentimes do things on the show that aren’t a good look for them professionally. This is something they strongly believe since a few of them are actual doctors. Of course, conversations about this have taken place online since the show’s first season. At the time, people were in disbelief that Mariah Huq and Toya Bush-Harris came to blows in gowns. And it all went down at a very fancy party.
Before “Married to Medicine LA” was canceled, Dr. Imani Walker said that the LA ladies weren’t able to get away with too much drama because they don’t own their own practices like the Atlanta cast. So they had to constantly be conscious of their actions on the show.
Well, Heavenly isn’t too worried about her image. She’s made an effort to always stay true to herself. And she said by being herself, no matter how controversial, she would inspire others to do the same. Plus, she wanted to show people that they could come from any background and be successful. So she doesn’t feel the need to tone down her personality or be afraid to get caught up in dramatic moments on the show.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes recently responded to social media criticism.
Interestingly enough, Heavenly’s promise to be true to herself hasn’t eliminated the criticism. In fact, someone recently called her out on Instagram. And the comment got her attention, too.
On the Married to Medicine Source Instagram page, the blogger reposted a tweet from Heavenly that reads, “When you say things to trigger me, you can’t get mad at the response. #married2med”
In response to this, a fan of the show wrote, “It’s old at this point. I don’t find adult professional women acting in this manner entertaining. I will admit I miss Mariah’s shade though. Now THAT was entertaining. ?”
After Heavenly spotted the comment, she clapped back. She wrote, “Get a profession then judge us. I hate when people who don’t have a professional degree judge folks that do ijs. ?”

Why follow the fan page if you don’t like the show?
Mariah fought in season one. Here we go again with the fake morals and outrage.
Ummmmm folks don’t need a degree to judge. You put yourself on national TV to be judged Devenly.
Meh people are entitled to their opinions whether they have a degree or not. With that being said, we wouldn’t watch a reality show if there wasn’t any drama. If Heavenly and everyone else got along, who would really watch?
If everybody acted like Jackie they’d say the show is boring ??♀️
I really hope the trailer is exciting because the arguing on social media is not convincing me to watch.
Heavenly is straight no chaser.
I must admit the YO MOMMA had me in stitches when she’d say it maybe because I wouldn’t’ve taken it as a jab like some of the ladies did. No diff than being called a b-tch. Certain things don’t hold water now like they once did as a child.
I woulda laughed it off because Heavenly’s voice woulda done it.
